We started homeschooling our kids last year. This is a good product that does the job for science projects.

I was looking for the 150 C upper range and it arrived with a 110 C max. Useless for my application.

It's good but not completely accurate. It's about 4 degrees off

It came damaged and when I tried to get a return and a replacement, it said the item was not eligible for return So if I were you, I would not buy this

Works like you'd expect, which is perfect. My example reads +0.5C.

First one I had was great! Broke it accidentally, so I ordered a second one. The second one arrived broken… Without the broken parts inside the tube! According to Amazon, it was not eligible for a refund or replacement! Spent quality time trying to figure out how to get my money back. It’s horrible end up in a matrix that you cannot get out of because of pre-incline questions that get you nowhere such as “have you tried to re-calibrate it“ “did you replace the batteries“ finally got a refund by talking to a representative.

I first calibrate the thermometer and found the ice cold temperature is very accurate at 0C, and only read 95C when putting in the boiling water for 1 minutes. I never reached 100C while water is still boiling.
