Perception HD 20-60x60mm Spotting Scope

Title - Happy CustomerThis spotting scope has been my constant companion around my ranch. I use it many times a week not just on my hunts. It is very clear and durable. I throw it in my truck and have dropped it many times. It holds up better than previous scopes I have had. I love it!

Good little scope I just needed something a little bigger.. this would be great for packing....

I'm very pleased with the quality of the optics and the lightweight but solid construction. I have looked through scopes that are more expensive with no appreciable difference. It would be nice if they had more options for objective lenses or magnifications, but overall this thing is great and I may end up getting some binocs, too. I currently have my scope set up on a tri-pod in my office, and recently watched bald eagle eating a fish a few hundred yards away like it was sitting right outside of my window.

Very disappointed. They should remove this from the market as it is harming their brand. I own a pair of upland 10x42 binos which are crisp, clear, and I love them so I was hoping to get the same with this spotting scope plus take advantage of it’s light weight and support an Idaho based company. These are not crisp or clear at all. I compared them to my Emarthtech 20x60x60 and the $100 Emarth was noticeably clearer and that’s not saying much. At the same time I purchased the Upland I purchased the Athlon Argos 20x60x85 for about the same price $380. The Athlons are amazing. If your trying not to spend $1,000 or more you should check out the Athlons.

At magnified distances the objects were not clear and appeared to have a holo of light around them. This effect caused difficulty identifying target.

Focus is a little difficult at 60x, but then this is true of every spotting scope I have ever owned. Very sharp up to 40x.Customer service was excellent. If you encounter a problem, these guys answer the phone, and stand solidly behind their product.

I have had many spotting scopes throughout the years. I bought the Upland Perception Spotting Scope because of the many recomendations and reviews on the internet. I absolutely love this scope. The glass is clear and it is lightweight. My favorite feature is the lens cap that attaches to the body. I recommend it to anyone looking for a spotting scope.
