MGDRx Eye Bag for Blepharitis

Awesome product. Not heavy on the face/eye area. Very comfortable. Heats to right temperature as it says on the box. I have Blepharitis and my eye lashes grow in wrong towards my eye. This Eye Bag really helps soothe my eyes and eyelids as they are really sore. Thanks i will be buying more.

This eye bag is very well constructed of quality materials, is just the right size--not too wide and not too long--and is just the right weight. In addition, it holds the heat for about 4-5 minutes--very important if you are using this for the treatment of dry eye. To keep it in pristine condition, I place a paper towel between the eye bag and my skin.

Good product. Pretty sure that over time used regularly it has helped the lid irritation. And it feels so restful-- a nice relaxing evening break.

Really helped to relax my uveitis pain, even though that is not necessarily the intended use of this bag. A big relief to my eyes, especially after using an ice pack in conjunction with it.

I've been suffering from blepharitis for five months before I purchased this product. I have been on three different type of antibiotic/steroid eye drops over the course of these months, but every time I finished the course of medication, the blepharitis would come right back. In addition to the drops, I was washing my eyes with baby shampoo and using warm wet compresses twice a day. After my third course of antibiotic/steroid drops, my doctor told me that next time I get it, he's going to put me on a course of oral antibiotics for a long time (which I didn't want to get on). I found this product on the internet and thought why not give it a shot as I only have more antibiotics to look forward to (ugghh). In addition to the hassle of blepharitis, the drops were making the pressures in my eye go up so after I got of the drops, I would have to go on other drops to reduce the pressure in my eyes.Prior to using this product, I was using the warm wet compresses twice a day. The problem with that is that the skin around my sensitive eyes were getting extremely dry and painful every time I applied the wet compresses (because they were so dried out from doing this for so long). I've have now been using the MGD Eyebag for two weeks now and so far so good. I don't see any symptoms of the blepharitis I had been experiencing before (swollen/puffy bottom lids, crusting around both ends of the eyes). The instruction booklet is very detailed on how to use it and how to warm it up and how long it last for.If you are like me and have been suffering from this, I would recommend trying the eye bag at least for relief of the symptoms.

This eye bag works great except after I put this in the laundry machine, it cannot be used..not sure if this wasn't supposed to be put in the washing machine?

I wear contact lens because I have an eye disease called keratoconus I was having trouble wearing my scleral lens because they kept clouding and my vision was diminished greatly. I was told I had Blepharitis and that heat might help . I found this eyebag on Amazon and it is like a miracle. I can't believe how much it has improved my vision in just 2 weeks. It is relaxing and easy to use. I use it every night before going to sleep. I couldn't recommend this more.

I tried this because I cannot afford the optometrist's treatment and plus that treatment does not necessarily work. I found a study online about this bag that said almost everyone who tried it for 2 weeks was helped. I would say that I had to use it twice a day for 3 weeks before I began to feel that it was working to unblock my meibomian glands. Hooray! Try this and don't give up! Also, check the company's website for how to use the regular oven if you do not have a microwave (which I do not). ***EDITED TO ADD*** I really began to notice improvement after a good 6 to 8 weeks of 1-2 times a day use. When I scrinch up my closed eyelids, I can feel the glands working and more "wetness." Plus my eyelids do not stick to my eyeballs in the morning anymore. THANK YOU for this great product at an affordable price!

I have always had extreme dry eyes and my eyes were always red. For a decade i have been using only preservative free eye drops or saline to help with the pain.My new Ophthalmologist recommended this to me and after one use i felt a difference. I Will be using this twice daily for two weeks(as recommended ) to help get rid of my dry eyes.Follow the instructions and your doctor's recommendations.The only issue is this does not stay hot for ten minutes. 5-7 minutes at most. I may experiment with the microwave times.TLDR: great for dry eye

Worth the money! Great product!I had been using wet compresses to relieve my Blepheritis but this eye mask is much better.It is the consistent 10 minutes of heat I think but at the end of the treatment time wetness actually floods my eye.I have been using this for only 2 weeks so far but an appreciable difference.I used Blephadex Foam twice a day to inhibit the domodex mites(ugh) am now using it once daily.I use a mild drop for eye allergies and HydroForte eye drops as well all free of preservatives.This is basically an incurable condition but I have found in all of this this mask has made the biggest difference.I put on my phone timer and a podcast and tune out! PS I wasn’t diagnosed until some years passed with a number of GPS and an ophthalmologist.Over this time I have lost 60% of my eye lashes.Again UGH!

I am currently being investigated with regards an autoimmune condition and had been referred to the eye clinic at my local hospital as was having significant difficulties with my eyes. I had at times constant soreness and watering which was then followed by extremely puffy,swollen eyes that were very dry. My eyes constantly felt like there was grit in them and I started suffering blurry vision, double vision and extreme photosensitivity.At the eye clinic I was diagnosed with chronic blepharitis and the Opthamologist actually brought Amazon's site up and showed me this item. He stated he had the exact prescription and problems with his own eyes as my own and like myself had tried lots of drops to allieve his symptoms until recommended this by a colleague. He explained how it just heated in the microwave and having a similar item for my back found this very easy to use.It started working from the very first use. After having the mask on for ten minutes, you run your finger along your eyelids, gently massaging and it is unbelievable, you actually see and feel the oil seeping from your eyes. Immediately my eyes were more moist and the 'sleep' in them was soft and healthy, not awful dry grit that stuck to my eyes. I have been using it a few days and cannot believe the difference. My husband said it has taken years off me as all the puffiness that was present has gone. I cannot recommend this product enough and have also done so to friends and family. Amazing product!
