Go go ghost hunters
The product is really heavy and bulky, and is not very sturdy. Reminds me of an old radio or Walkman. Sound is great should be specified in the ad though that it only takes a certain type of battery because I’ve tried other batteries, other than energizer and this product will not accept any other battery other than energizer batteries, which is a little irritating because they’re kind of expensive, but is a great product to communicate With the spirit realm. Works really well I thought the product was a little pricey as you can find other ones on Amazon that are a little bit smaller and do the exact same thing. Other than that I do think it’s a great product. it is efficient you have to make sure that you change the batteries regularly in the product as they cause the product malfunction if you don’t , overall great product absolutely love. This would definitely buy another product again in a smaller size.

Great item
I got this to try in my gbost hunting videos. I am trying the both and small spirt box but each has a different way they work but other than that I like it does not pick up radio stations like the small one does.

Honest review.
This product is awesome for EVPs. Battery can drain after a few hours so always have a back up in case. At first my results weren't great but I read online to start at a slower sweeping rate and record it. You must learn to shut the FM/AM radio off and figure out what radio bleed sounds like. But me and 2 friends went into a creepy asylum graveyard and eventually it said loudly and cleary my name. Then after the 3 of us freaked out a little another voice said "got em". Unfortunately I did not record it in time. You'll probably want a digital recorder I currently use my phones video camera but plan on finding a good recorder to use. This product gets a lot of hate for it being loud and not a lot of responses. Your location may not be good and if you sweep two channels at once that will be much louder. I find best results using both channels on FM sweeping at 150. I will post a video as soon as I capture a worthy one.

Love this thing. They thought of everything
This is perfect. They thought of everything on this one. Every single function is great.I do wish some how on these Sboxes that they would figure out a way to squelch the noise and still have the voices come through loud.... not sure that's even possible without missing or squelching the wrong thing.Anyway... love it. Best one yet. Thought if it all as far as functions go.

A bit confusing at first, but if your somewhat experienced you'll do OK.
I guess you can say I'm a "seasoned" Investigator after 34 years, so I'll do my best I'm reviewing. I started using this units predecessor the PSB-7 when they first came out; It is a dependable device, but the speaker was poor and I had to use a extension speaker to hear better. I also decided to remove the antenna to stop so much radio station interference. It was cheaper than purchasing a Faraday Bag to block them.Comparing the PSB-7 to this PSB-11:The PSB-11 has some nice additions. I do like that the speakers are MUCH better and it has a switch to shut off the antenna in congested or close stations. Next, it's much bigger than the 7, and one doesn't have to balance an extension speaker whike walking around a possible haunted venue in the dark. The 11 of course can scan different directions on different frequencies, even forward and back in different configurations. It can get confusing at first mastering this; in fairness, I'm still somewhat mastering it myself. 🙂It does have 3.5mm jack's for the user to use add on speakers, but I find the enclosed one just fine. I also occasionally use my spirit-speaker/portal thru these same 3.5mm jack's. I've also added some labels to areas I wish to be able to see better during investigations; I may add some more later if needed as seen in the attached pic's.The two things I'm not to sure about are the ambient temperature change "meter" on the front and the flashlight that can be used that is located on the top....Ok, I can see the idea of having said flashlight handy, but usually I have a headlamp strapped across my oversized head for use. I guess it's ok if your lamp goes to crap or dies- I'll give them that...I first thought, "Oh, a ambient temperature meter- how cool...". But of course I need accuracy as I'm sure most investigators do, so I tested it.I put a highly accurate temp meter in my work area that I use for building some of my own paranormal equipment; It was a nice 73.4°f. I put my EDI+ near it that datalogs different readings including temperature, and another device I made that datalogs vibration, EMF, temperature and movement in a selected area. Long story short, when I turned on my heat gun I use for wire shrink wrap for 5 min 2 feet away, my devices registered the rise in temp within .2°-.3°f of each other. The PSB-11 registered a drop of .3°f. This was repeated, with very similar results. I'm not so sold on the temperature "do-hickey" they use... 🤷‍♂️I do like the unit otherwise. Due to C-19 we haven't got to test the EVP yet at a suspected haunted venue- but I'll let ya know! The ONE thing I DO wish the PSB-11 had— the ability to record your EVP for you instead of carrying your recorder around with it!!! Maybe if they would've left off this temp change meter and the flashlight, they could've put one in. Keeping in mind I like the PSB-11, I do kind of wish I would've put my $$ into the new digital SBOX available for about the same price. It records EVP'S... 🤷‍♂️AMMENDMEND 24 DEC 21 1638 hrs: I've used this now on three Investigations at Henricus Historical Park and twice at the Powhatan Plantation House; I still like it, but to tell you the truth it's easier to either use the PSB-7 without the antenna attached to a homemade external speaker. The PSB-11 is ok to use in a well lit area where one can use the array of switches, scan speeds, etc.John "Doc" Lykins, NREMT-Paramedic (Ret.) No ghosts yet but this product works...
While I have not heard any ghosts yet, this device works as advertised. It lets you choose am FM or both and it also has a temperature sensor. It uses a 9V battery and I have been using the same 9V battery that I first put in the device. Ghosts are often blamed for draining power from devices but this spirit box must have a way of blocking that because my original battery is still going strong. I need help understanding the complaints about it being too loud because each channel has its volume control and the device comes with a set of in-ear headphones. Vol- and Vol+ are volume controls.
