I spent $35 on a kit that was worth $10. I got 7 blow pens (not even the colors listed on the box I received) that looked used and dried out. The box came to me damaged. The item did not even look like the one presented in the ad or as descibed in the ad. The contents inside were dusty and had nothing that I paid for inside. It was as if it were already opened. I am a Huge customer of Amazon.com and I have experiened my first amazon rip off.

We bought these for the kids after seeing the commercial on Cartoon Network and bazillion times. Too cool! By blowing into the end of the pen, your child can create an airbrush effect on paper, cardboard, whatever. I suggest you spread some newspaper out beforehand, or better yet, do this outside. Eager kids can easily give you a lovely creation on your kitchen wall (must be why the company recommends parental supervision). There's a one-way valve in each pen which prevents your child from sucking on the end and inhaling the ink. The best part is watching your child's face when he sees what he can make. This inexpensive pen set entertains our kids for hours (NOTE: don't let the dog get a hold of them- I'll spare you the gory details).

messiest piece of garbage I have ever seen. The instructions miss one very important step to using them. So you get to start off with frustration and then get to be totally disappointed right after.

This product is very durable and easy to handle. BloPens are a fun, fairly clean, creative innovation in the world of crafts. Although I liked them very much on an overall basis,I used this product for a school project that already had spray-paint on it, and the ink spread all over and was very runny, even though I had used a stencil. What I liked most about this product was that it was two-in-one. You can take off the blowing parts, and voila! now you have a regular marker for fill-ins or detailed drawings. This product can be messy though, so I reccomend putting some sort of protection on whatever you are working on.

He really has fun decorating not just paper but also rocks, we received this kit for a birthday present and he just loves it. There is almost no end to the things you can decorate with the blopens. It is really easy to use, and seems to be lasting a pretty long time so far. It is also in a nice package to contain all the parts and keep it organized and also a tray to hold the item which is being painted, this contains the paint in the tray. One of my kids got paint spattered on her and it washed right off and also washed out of her clothes no problem.

My 6 year old received this as a gift and it's wonderful. He has no trouble using them on his own and they are not nearly as messy as I would have expected. It has now become my favorite gift for other children.

i am an artist; i make a lot of greeting cards. i have found blo-pens to be a lot of fun and i have been very creative with them. i found that i do better when i use my own stencils, and i have experimented a lot with the pens. my frustration is not being able to find just the pens, except for the "bold" colors, which i do not need. and i don't like the color change pens (the colors are blah, as far as i'm concerned). would love to know how to find an assortment of pens.
