My husband works at a grocery store. I bought these for him. The first day he wore it his coworkers commented on how much they loved the hard plastic. Like a little hard clear plastic case. My husband soon discovered that due to them being hard plastic there isn't any bend to it. So they easily break.

I was looking for a hard shell case badge holder to give some protection to my work ID badge. I've used several different types of badge holders in the past - everything from the flimsy plastic holders to other types of hard case holders. I was looking for something slightly better than the holder that I am currently using and wanted these features: 1) it had to be a hard shell case, 2) simple and clean design but still durable, 3) clear material (not frosted) and 4) cut-out on only ONE SIDE to slide the card in and out. This holder gave me everything that I was looking for in a badge holder. I know it may seem picky, but I wear my badge on a lanyard (not provided with this product) around my neck everyday at work and to meetings so I wanted a holder that looks nice and professional. I've only been using this holder for a few days and so far I really like it. It looks very nice thanks to it’s clean and simple design. I've been treating it very well, trying to avoid any scratches or scuff marks that would diminish it's appearance. The clear acrylic material is very nice and my ID badge can be easily seen by others. I was really only looking to buy one holder, but this product was only sold in a 3-pack, so now I have two extras that I'm saving for later. It also came with a metal retractable clip for each holder, which has a good quality feel to it, but I prefer to wear a lanyard so did not use them. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend. This is the ideal badge holder for me and I’m glad I decided to buy it after reviewing many other options. If you’re looking for the same features as I am in a badge holder then this is your product. If not, then you have plenty of other options to choose from. I may offer an update later on this product’s long term use and how the quality holds up. Attached are some pictures I took upon receiving my order and unpacking it’s contents.

Although the product seems to be well made and sturdy, it was missing the ring in all three badges which is what I wanted the most to be able to place my pens, sharpie and highlighters on as a nursing student.

I lead bus tours, so I use a lot of name tag holders. I've tried several different brands. These are the best I have used, so I'm back for more. I had to throw some of the cheaper brands out after one use because the ink from the name card transferred onto the holder. I tried everything I could think of to remove the ink, but couldn't get it off. The ink transfer has never happened with these.The only reasons I need to replace these is because some of the passengers lose them or put stickers on them which leave a sticky residue so I have to throw those out.I like to use the side loading feature because my passengers often get food crumbs in the top loaders, which is a pain to clean. I know - gross, but some of our trips are two weeks long and we wear name tags every day.Oh, and they look much better than the picture. Nice and clear.

If you have a card that will stay in the case all the time then this is a 5 STAR case. I need to remove my card often and this case makes that very cumbersome and has begun to peel the protective layer off my card. Also after dozens of removals the sides of the case are starting to separate.

Bought these as backup for work, cause personally in need one with a carabiner attached for the peace of mind so I don’t loose my work badge. Haven’t had to use any yet, but I’m glad I have replacements.

The clip and the case that holds your badge are great - super solid and study. The retractable reel is terrible. It does not hold more than your 1 badge in the case, and every one has broken on me within 2 weeks. I guess that is why they come in packs of 3. I wear a badge and a proximity sensor, so I have to wear them separately. I need my badge to get through almost every door at work, so the retractable line gets used a lot. If you don't need to use the retractable feature very much, this might be ok for you.

i mostly bought this for the retractable badge reel belt clip badge holder. i was looking for a badge holder that would let me have the option carabiner to place it on a belt loop, and also let me attach it to a shirt pocket edge all in one depending on my outfit of the day. the ID holder is sturdy, gives me access to very easily take it out if needed, and also can hold up to three cards all at once. the belt clip is sturdy and stays in place but is not too snug to where it can snag clothing when taking it off. overall i am very satisfied with the product and would order it again in the futurre
