Sea Sucker Wind Noise
I want to address the wind noise generated by the roof mounted Mini-Bomber model which will hold 2 E-bikes with a rating of 45 lbs each. My wife & I transport 2 Levos atop the car and even with the bikes removed the wind generated noise is quite irritating so after a bit of googling solutions without success I decided to try a DIY solution. As it turns out a 30" piece of 1-3/8" OD tubing with a bungee cord laced through it does block/divert the air stream and reduces the wind noise to a minimal amount. I was really surprised at the results and although it may be of interest to the few on this website who have shown interest in the rack system, it may prove beneficial to some.PS: Free advise is worth every penny.

Before buying this product, check the curvature of your vehicle’s roof
After doing about a week of research on roof racks, I came to the conclusion that this is the best roof rack available on the market. However, it did not fit the roof of my Mazda MX-5 RF because the roof of my car had too much curve. The two center suction cups attached but the two outer suction cups would not reach. If the roof of your vehicle has more than about a half inch of curve in it, this 2 bike rack won’t attach. I suspect two single bike racks could work. Had to return this product for now. I plan to repurchase it in the future to try it on a Tesla Model S.

Sucks!!! (good sucks, not bad sucks)
Was really excited to receive my Seasucker Mini Bomber. What an awesome concept, and the promotional videos really sell its virtues. A great solution ... Then I went to put it on the car. One dead sucker out of the box. I disassembled, inspected, etc. located the issue as damage caused in shipping - I a crack on the pump nozzle. I contacted Seasucker and they were quick to respond to the issue.Could use a tiny design improvement, or more protective packaging to avoid the type of damage mine had sustained -although, it likely took a pretty hard hit in shipping/handling to cause what happenedI love the flexibility of putting this thin anywhere, and moving from one vehicle to the next with no fitment questions to worry about. Holds bikes tight on my TTS (though I'm not likely gonna do a full-on Quattro drift test ; -)

BUY THIS SEASUCKER! (A little long winded)
I F*#%ING LOVE THIS THING!I don’t have a truck or large vehicle my first car was a Kia Rio an I had one of the foldable bike racks on the back side that attaches with straps , the straps bent some metal and the pads scuffed my paint, over long use an a lot of time using it. I traded that car in for a new Kia Soul I just love the brand! I have three mountain bikes, one a 26” Full sus giant, a trek 29er and a woodman 26” dirt jumper. Nothing expensive all used an abused, I like to ride sometimes hard or casual, an my friends come with me with sometimes this SEASUCKER IS AWESOME everyone still fits in the car. My most resent trip I went from my home town of rutvegas VT to Auburn ME with one of my Bike’s on the roof, 4 hours of driving and speeds up to 72 mph. I did stop to go use the rest room in Maine at the welcome center and none of the push buttons were showing their orange indicators (which means it’s lost some suction( 200lbs per suction cup)). I know the product is a little expensive actually it’s more money than I paid for one of my used bikes for but if you don’t have the cargo space or want to ruin your cars paint I’d most definitely recommend this to anyone!!!!!!!!!

Mini bomber on my mini cooper
Currently mounted on a 2015 mini cooper. Excellent hold. I have it mounted on the roof just forward of my sunroof. Even though the roof is curved this holds right on to it. I will be getting the upgraded rear tire holder as I don't like fiddling with the velcro. The front tire holder will also be added shortly.

This Product Sucks . . . It Sucks Really Well!
The main frame for the rack is just plastic, unless there is steel imbedded in it. 3/4" thick high density PE. It's REALLY strong. In a test, the suction held for over 6 hours on the main piece (all 4 cups), at which point I removed it. In another test, a single rear cup held suction overnight (about 9 hours). All of the hardware appears to be quite robust and well designed. The only assembly is the attachment of the two fork mounts (two machine screws and nylock nuts each). Since I have an aversion to putting anything against the paint of my new car, I plan to mount the main piece at the top of the windshield, and there's a bit of curvature; as a heads-up, attaching it to the car was easier when I proceeded sequentially from one side to the other, rather than trying to do the two outside cups first.I originally planned to mount a hitch receiver to the car to avoid having a rack touch any part of the car itself. However, the attachment points for a receiver for my Volt, and the forces by a cantilevered rack persuaded me to give this a try, and I'm glad I did. At this point, I couldn't be happier.

Have no fear
Off course I was reluctant at first. But you don’t have to fear. This thing is sturdy and very safe. I use it on the roof of my 2018 AUDI A3 sedan. I have used it to drive more than 300 miles at around 75 mph. I try to check the pressure every four hours. Once I left it all night for around 8 hours in the garage and it hold the pressure perfectly. The only thing you have to take into account is to use it on paved roads. Probably on bumpy roads it will work but the roof will make an unpleasant sound. I think the best area of the car to place it will be, the front part of the rack in the back part of the roof, and the rear tyre “sucker” on top of the trunk.

Great, on and off in seconds
Great, on and off in seconds. super sturdy.I have it on the back of the roof with the rear wheel of the bike siting on the trunk. as its so far back it does not create any noticeable wind noise whatsoever.I use this for my vintage Beemer and and did not want to spoil it a car i admire for its design with a permanently installed rack so this is the way to go! i am super stoked on it.I have it in an bag in the trunk and just pop it on in less than a minute when i need it.the only negative is that the suction cups leave ugly circles on the car after you take them of but these can be wiped off easily with a microfiber towel I keep in the trunk

Who would have thought
This is a brilliant device that works really well, and addresses a lot of the problems with traditional racks. Easy to store. Easy to add onto pretty much any car. Easier to get the bikes on to. No need for different racks/kits for different cars - the one seasucker will fit any of the cars you have, or that your family friends have, now and into the future without change. I have to admit I was nervous the first few times, but confidence builds very quickly, and have now done a 500 mile motorway round trip with no issues at all. YouTube videos are out there showing it mounted on racing cars going round the track, and at 140mph - so maybe I shouldnt have worried. So stop being nervous about attaching your pride and joy to your speeding car with rubber suckers. It works, and is better that what you have.

I love this bike rack!
When we bought our car we didn't realise it wouldn't be able to transport our bikes: too small to put the bikes in the back; unsuitable for the hatch-mounted racks; unsuitable for fitting a tow bar. We didn't like the idea of roof racks either but the Seasucker caught my attention. I watched a load of videos which helped dispel my distrust of the concept and then bought one. Who knew that we could so easily transport our bikes with the magic of Velcro and suction? It's easy to fit and remove, easy to put bikes on and take off (I'm only 165 cm tall and can do this alone), we've used it loads of times now with no issues and we're happy that we can drive out of London for a bit of cycling any time we want. Just one warning - remember to use the Velcro strap provided to hold the pedals in place or you will scratch your roof.

Great Product - Simple to use - Rock Solid
Seasucker is a great concept if you don't want to be fixing racks to your car on a semi-permanent basis. Once you have attached the suckers to the vehicle, it is plain sailing. You need to make sure the pushers are lubricated for optimum seal. Would have been 5* but you have to buy a separate adaptor if running a bike with thru axles and these are not so easy to find. I managed to get some on e-bay in the end

... fitting your bike to the rack but I really like the simplicity of the design and the fact that ...
Takes a bit of a leap of faith when first fitting your bike to the rack but I really like the simplicity of the design and the fact that I don't have to install some complicated contraption to my car and I can lend it to friends and family.

Cool idea, not right for us.
I love the idea but it's really best for rooftop mounting a bike. It didn't work for our SUV when we tried to mount it on the rear window. It didn't bend to conform to the slight curve (although the marketing says it should bend) so all 4 cups couldn't attach and the bikes were too long so the rear wheel mount couldn't attach to the tailgate.
