Unlimited power for G7
This item literally arrived as I was leaving to shoot a birthday celebration. I generally don't put new tools into rotation without some testing, but i figured “why not” - I had a three camera crew, worst case another shooter would cover me as i switched back to conventional batteries if this failed.No need for the conventional batteries as my $34 insignia 12000 milliamp power pack from Best Buy managed to power my G7 for the full party using this DC coupler. The power bank still had three bars once the night was over could have gone another 3-4 hours easily...it was awesome having this mounted to my Crane V2 knowing that i would not have to hassle with a battery change.Although the instructions had an option to use the two USB Connectors, it powered on fine using just one. Although having only one connected may be the reason i am having problems with the camera not powering back on if i turned the camera off for any reason.I guess if you want to run this camera for days, you can connect two power banks in parallel.I had to stop short of five stars though, as turning the camera off would create a situation where i had to unplug the usb cable from the power bank, and re plug it back in to get the camera to restart.Other than that, this option seems more “engineered” than some of those 5v to 9v usb step up adapters out there. This is my subjective opinion though based on feel, and not because i disassembled the unit.So, this is a strong recommend for those that use the G7 or G85

Never any issues using this kit on my Panasonic G85. Love it!

Solid replacement of batteries
I have been pleased using this dummy for my G85. I used run around checking on battery life of my cameras during even recording but now, I just use this dummy and plug it in a portable powerbank and let the camera do it job. This dummy is a must form people who shoot live event.

Works With Lumix G7
I purchased this DC coupler for my Lumix G7 and the camera seems to work fine using this adapter. I tried it with a wall wart and portable USB battery pack with 2A outputs and noted no issues operating the camera.

It works, but batteries drain quickly.
It's not the DC Coupler's fault, once it's the camera that drains the battery, but I thought my 20,000mha very good battery would last longer.It lasts about 2 hours taking Time-Lapse photos. Time-lapse drains the battery a lot, but I didn't think it would be this much. I believe it would last the same time if continues videoing 4K.

Excellent product
An excelent product! It is exactly as described in the presentation. I use it exactly with the expernal battery they recommend (althouth I suppose that it would work with another type of external battery also), and I have excellent results. I highly recommend! Thank you, inventors and engineers, you solved my problem with the battery life of my camera! :)

Serves its intended purpouse
If you need to keep your G85 powered without the battery in a studio or in my case as a webcam. This is perfect.

Perfectly working
Perfectly working on my lumix g85 camera. Very satisfied!I applied the early delivery but it took 10days.. Anyway I got this before my trip. You better consider enough lead time.
