Neutrik NC3FX 3-Pin XLR Female Cable Connector with Nickel Housing and Silver Contacts

Needed to hardwire from a unit that had a male NC3FX , it was easy to wire and fit snug / weathertight

Neutrik products are all well made and heavy duty. I have used these ends multiple times. Just make sure you can solder and know the proper placement of the wire and you'll be in good shape. These do have three posts to solder to.

If you make mic cables, snakes, etc. you are already very familiar with these. If not, these are easy to solder and work perfectly for live and/or recording purposes. Neutrik generally speaking makes amazing connectors, you can’t go wrong with them.

Easy to solder and assemble. I do not have the greatest soldering iron but was able to get the cable soldered up for this pretty quickly.

These are supposed to be the best. I bought a dozen of them, males and females, and soldered them onto cables I had on which the old connectors were not reliable. I like the way the screw mechanism holds the connecting part to cable. You can probably swing a mic around like a lasso with these connectors and they'd hold up.

Neutrik is the best! Made in Germany! Super quality and durability! Ever since I started making my chords these are the connectors I buy even if they cost twice as much. Most high quality mic chords will have these ends on them because they know they will last. Go Neutrik!

Fit snug, unlike my previous ones.Notes:Soldiering required (better that it is).No instructions to assembly. You can find a simple overview on the manufacture's website. Not too difficult to figure out.Very tough to tighten down in the final step of assembly. There is a special tool for it but I was able to use a locking wrench to do it.

Used this to replace the plug on my one wheel XR charger and it worked great.
