K2 Mounts K-Pro-W2 Universal Low Profile Projector Ceiling Mount Paintable - White

i bought this to hang my BenQ 1080 ST projector from the ceiling, its a universal mount so it took some time to configure it for my projector. Once set up it did the job very well. It was easy to attach to the ceiling and aim the projector.I would probably recommend buying the mount made specifically for your projector over this one. I was able to get overnight delivery on this one and it was not offered on the one made for my BenQ.The color is supposed to be "white" but it is more of an ivory - does not match my white projector or my white ceiling. I'll fix this with a little paint.It's a good product at a good price.

This projector mount fits my benq 1080 no problem but for some reason I simply cannot get it to stay exactly where I need it to be. There's too much wiggle for me to precisely align the projector to fit my screen exactly so it's so far always just a little off kilter.It seems that the quick disconnect that was supposed to be a blessing is also a curse, because it snaps into place there is a fair amount of movement. I've messed around with it for quite a while tightening whatever I can but so far no luck. The instructions are sparse so that's not much help in that regard. I may take the projector down and try again but I fear I'll never get the projector just how it's supposed to be.

Nicely put together.The shroud that meets the ceiling hides the penetrations and keeps the install from looking like a scrap yard.It uses a quick release system that allows you to do your work at the ceiling, the projector, then snap the two together.There's a set screw that locks the quick release when your done.I was done in less than 30 minutes.

The build is OK, considering the cost; it does appear to be sturdy and adequate to mount a projector on the ceiling, IF you can get it to fit your projector. I tried it with an Optoma HD66 and it did not fit it by far; this mount is designed for much bigger projectors.

Like others have said, the quick release option is actually an issue. There is a set screw that should take care of the wiggle, but they put a hole on insert so the screw has nothing to push against. The mount looks great, but has a bad design.

Mounts easy and can articulate my projector as much as I needed. Cover makes it a cleaner looking install.

Looks very nice compared to the other mounts which look like an erector set. Matches great with my white projector, does it's job holding the projector in place and provides a clean modern look to my living room.

Slightly awkward positioning but a little effort and it fits nicely on my Epson short throw projector. Tighten everything up well and it works nicely.
