Lets make TVs just be TVs. My gaming device handles the multimedia
I love this TV because it's good at being a TV. The picture is great with no ghosting and works great with my PS5, the Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) is nice feature with the high refresh rate. The sound is pretty nice and clean with a surprising amount of bass. I don't bother with the internet functions, because I just use my PS5 if I want to watch movie or streaming apps. Bonus points for not being enshittified by allowing me to update my TV without locking me out, and forcing to me create an account and give payment info. That last one is a shot at RokuTV. Screw that company.

Wow super nice for the $ and a lot of features too.
I was not sure what to expect as I was coming from an older Hisense that was more expensive than this by a lot, but seems newer technology like mini-led in this, makes it better for much less. So even replacing an older higher end model worked out fine. I looked this up and most reviews claimed it was the best higher end "entry level" model and that is what it seems to be. Has some great features not found at this price point on other models and the picture looks great. My setup uses Dolby Vision and this worked right away. One thing to keep in mind when connecting devices is only 2 of the 4 HDMI ports are 2.1 144hz and all that, so make sure to use the right ones for the right devices or could miss out on some settings. The picture looks nice to me for a $500 TV, really nice especially if you go on YouTube and watch the 4k/8k HDR clips. The sound is also very nice "for a TV" so even if you always use a sound bar, you might be able to skip using it sometimes as the TV does sound OK with the little subwoofer on the back. FWIW yes the sound bar setup does sound better, just the TV is good enough you might not need it all the time. This is a FireTV TV so you need to connect to an Amazon account "if" you want to do some things or use the FireTV stuff. You CAN use it right out of the box not connected to internet and everything does work. I connected it to Amazon and its actually pretty snappy for a TV and works good enough. Its not like my other TV where everything takes 10-15 seconds to come up and things are so slow, this is very snappy actually usable unlike a lot of TV's.

Best TV for price.
Iv had this now a few months. Beautiful picture. Colors really pop. The built in subwoofer is a bit much for an Apt..but you can turn it off in settings. Still great sound. As said in other reviews sideview is a bit diluted. But not a deal breaker. I'd buy again.

Best Sound Of Any TV I've Ever Owned
I was moving up from a 55" to 65" and the specs and price were the deciding factors. This Hisense is replacing a year old Samsung and I can see no discernable visual difference when placed side by side. BUT the sound! This TV's speaker system, with its built-in subwoofer & equalizer, totally blows away the sound of both our tinny, thin sounding Samsungs and a Sony. No comparison. The TV will get hooked up to a Bose/Klipsch/Yamaha surround system so I won't be using the great sound Hisense has put in this TV. If you need a quality, feature filled TV with excellent built-in sound quality, and don't use a sound bar or sound system, this is the TV for you. Seriously, as a standalone, I can't get over how great it sounds. If picture quality, specs, and a great price are your focus, Hisense should be at the top of your list. UPDATE: I bought this TV expecting the headphone jack to function. It does NOT. Too much hassle to try and return a 65" TV so I will have to live without using headphones. Beware...

Fantastic Fire TV Experience
don't know what it is. I am the only totally blind person living in my house. Yet I'm always the one wanting to buy new TV's! In this case, I wanted to buy it because it had better support for Dolby Atmos than our previous TV. I had a tax refund check coming, so I thought: Why not? First of all, the TV was delivered promptly. It was no problem mounting it, and the Fire TV ecosystem allowed for incredibly easy setup. I'm so glad I bought this TV! The built-in audio actually sounds decent, especially for TV speakers. But the real difference showed up when we connected the TV to our surround sound system. Holy Wow! Finally, true Atmos support! My wife and son really love the picture quality. Even though the resolution is the same as previous TV's we've owned, the brightness and contrast are far superior, and the motion is buttery smooth. Bottom line: We all love it for different reasons, and we are all happy to have upgraded from our previous television.

The best can’t beat the price!!!
Tv is wonderful. Beautiful picture. The volume is wild it gets so loud . I don’t have to turn it up past 17-20 and it goes up to 80 something or higher lol. Great tv for the price . Highly recommend!! My camera quality doesn’t do justice because I am using a iPhone 13 lol. we have the 75 the pictures make it look smaller but it’s huge in person. Not sure why when it’s hung up it also looks smaller than when standing on its legs. Great tv.i actually LOvE this more than our Samsung tv!!

Terrific tv.
I ordered the Hisense because of all the great reviews. The picture quality of this set is spectacular! I replaced my Samsung 60” with the 55” Hisense U6, not that anything is wrong with the Samsung I just wanted an upgrade and boy did I get it. I am very pleased with the Hisense U6 and look forward to buying the 65” for my game room. The colors are vivid, contrast and clarity are very pleasing and set up was a breeze.

Buy it now before tariff hits
Unpacking of Amazon was good. I made sure that it works before they left. The TV is awesome upscaling even beats my Panasonic 4K player. So far I love everything of it. From quality to function. The only issue I have is so far the software VLC player cannot output digital bitstream through EARC. Only the built in media player can. But it can only play the first audio track not the other tracks. Hopefully in the future the VLC player can update to disability. I need this function to play Atmos track from MKV files I especially love the remote because it's so small and easy to use. Much better than my Panasonic 4K player remote. Updated May 5th Friday. Woke up this morning and found out there's a burnt smell around my TV and all the apps disappeared. It could have been my USB hard drive that has Short circulated the TV. Cuz my USB hard drive went dead. upon rebooting and resetting TV back to factory, I cannot get it past the sensing the remote screen setup. So the TV went totally dead. Very disappointed. But I still miss the good quality. Maybe I might get the u8 instead. The return was fast and I'm waiting for the price of u8 to come down before buying again updated may 12th 2025. A week later I was able to get the 2024 model U6. Although I saved $200 but the video quality difference is huge. The 2025 had a much better contrast, brightness, color and motion smoothness. But I find this 2024 model works better for me because now most of my usb movie audio files can be played out as Passthrough. The 2024 media player has a lot more functions than the 2025. I was able to play other audio tracks instead of just the primary first audio track in 2025 u6 media player. So if you don't have a lot of usb mkv files and looking for video quality, 2025 model is the way to go.
