would like to meet this guy in person however
the literature and video aids I have so far found superficial. lacks detail and explanation of very foundational internal practice.I feel like people are almost apprehensive to write confidently about what they know just in case someone else will respond to that with a higher level knowledge.

The details that no one teaches. The key to the secret of correct practice.
When we talk about the subject of "internal martial arts", it's common to hear generic words like "use your energy". But, how to do it correctly? This book is like an oasis in the desert. You will learn that the most "mysterious, esoteric, fantastic" concepts are based on the correct use of your body structure. Or, to use a more technical word, your own biomechanics. If you intend to be a serious practitioner and get the good results, this book, with absolute certainty, will save you years of training and will preserve your body from practices that, if repeated in the wrong way, may even cause physical injuries.Even though I studied with masters who are members of the Chen family, I had not learned everything that this book teaches in a didactic, easy and objective way.I hope volume II will be produced.

Internal Body Mechanics for Tai Chi, Bagua and Xingyi
This is the book every Tai Chi Student should have!I have never seen a better book explaining the fundamentals and the inner studies and progressions so clear and comprehensible and shown the basics and techniques for beginners and intermediate to advanced students so instructively well elaborated and distilled. Many many pictures and precise description do not leave any questions open.Although heavily on Chen Style Tai Chi the author shows the fundamentals of every style under a different perspective so it is a manual for every one in the martial arts scene. No secret and mystical energies but practical steps to almost every part - be it ground path or maintaining peng jin, as well as internal movement as Dan Tien Rotation and Kua and much more. This manual should be in every martial arts library.I would have progressed a lot more - many Tai Chi Teachers are very reluctant and dead serious -if i had this Book much sooner!Learning the real “secrets” from this book is astonishing easy and rewarding. If somebody wants more lively instruction the Student can subscribe to the AuthorsCourses online - 14 days free - and learn with lots of videos and description on the internet site of Ken -Ken Gullette's Internal Fighting Arts.So the content of the book with many video clips can be watched on the members page.I have never seen a more detailed, friendly and comprehensive instruction for Tai Chi, BaGua and Xing Yi Quan.Ken is a very nice and helpful teacher in any way. There are also some instructional DVDs by Ken Gullette to purchase for a very small price for those who prefer owning the videos and watching on a DVD player.
