Perfect for larger hands!
This controller is definitely my all time favorite! I spent quite a bit of time researching different controllers online as I have larger hands, and I saw a lot of people recommending this. I had already previously purchased the Hyperkin Duke, and it was great for my hand size, but very quickly degraded in quality. I was searching for a controller that felt similar in my hands, but would have hall-effect buttons, and would be worth the money. I had previously bought the Gamesir G7 HE, and although I loved the build quality of it, it was too small for me, and my hands would cramp up if I played for longer than a couple of hours. The Nacon Revolution X solved all of these issues! Upon arrival, I quickly swapped out the joysticks for some of the alternate ones that came in the box, and added some weight to the controller so it would feel nice and hefty. I was really happy with the buttons as they felt very similar to the Gamesir HE, (although I would have to give a slight edge to the Gamesir buttons) but also was large enough for my hands. The controller looks great, and feels great, and although I don't use a ton of the advanced functionality such as the screen for profile swapping, I love knowing I have the ability to play around with it. The software was a little confusing for configuring the deadzone, but I also had never messed with this type of software before, so other users who are more familiar may have an easier time than I did! The buttons are nice and quiet as well, so there is no annoying clicking sounds when it is late at night. So far, I still have not experienced any stick drift, and the controller feels just as good as it did when I first purchased it! I recommend this controller to anyone who can afford it, and would highly suggest paying the extra money to get something that will last, and something that will tick all your boxes.

Shockingly good controller
I bought this controller because of all the hype it was getting. To be honest, I was expecting to return it because I already had an Elite 2 and figured the Nacon can't be that much better. Well, I was wrong. The Nacon is so much better that I'm selling my Elite. Here is what makes it so good: 1. Hall effect. No stick drift. That alone is worth it over the Elite 2. The Elite 2 has drift and the sticks have to be manually tightened to correct it. The Nacon doesn't. 2. Analog triggers. This has the best analog triggers I've ever tried. They can be adjusted to either be full analog or one-click digital, but the full analog function works so well that I just leave it there. It still works well, even in shooting games, but it also works well in racing games. As I write this, I realize that you can dial in the amount of analog on both shoulder buttons (there are sliders on the back of the controller that control this). A great feature if you're really trying to fine-tune your controls. 3. Weight. The Nacon is lighter than the Elite 2 out of the box (which I prefer) but comes with weights in case you prefer a heavier controller. 4. Sticks. The sticks are lighter than the Elite 2, which took some time getting used to but which I now like better than the Elite. 5. Multiple profiles. You can have up to four profiles on the Nacon and change them at the touch of a button. There's a ring light around the right thumbstick that changes colors depending on the profile you're using. A nice touch. There are a few cons, but they're minimal: 1. The Nacon has to be plugged into a computer and updated before it can be used. The Elite 2 works straight out of the box. I didn't have any problems with this (mine updated in a few minutes after I downloaded the software and got it connected) but some people have reported issues with it. 2. The Nacon requires a USB dongle in order to be used wirelessly. Again, not really an issue: I plugged my dongle into the front of my Xbox and still have the rear USB ports for other accessories. But this will take up one of your USB slots. 3. The Elite 2 has removable paddles. The Nacon has built-in back buttons, and it's possible to click them accidentally. I don't know if the back buttons can be disabled (I haven't tried as they haven't really been an issue) but I like that on the Elite they can be removed entirely if necessary. In short: those cons are extremely minor, and this controller is significantly better than the Elite 2. The Elite 2 is good, but this is better. I don't know how it compares to the SCUF as I've never tried one, but regardless, this is a great buy if you're looking for a high-end XBox/PC controller.

UNUSABLE AFTER LESS THAN 1 YEAR
On paper this is probably as close as you can get to the perfect controller. 4 perfectly placed back buttons and 2 additional shoulder buttons, all fully remappable on the fly through the built in screen. You can also map the buttons to keyboard inputs if you're on pc which makes very good use of the extra buttons since it allows options you don't have on other controllers. This thing even has a gyroscope in it!! Sadly the screen randomly stopped working so no more remapping without leaving my game. On top of that, now my custom remap profiles just get jumbled every time I try using the controller and nothing is where it should be. To add even more to that, I'm fairly certain this can all be fixed with a simple controller update, IF THE SOFTWARE DIDN'T MAKE THE UPDATE BUTTON UNCLICKABLE. I literally can't even use this thing anymore cuz everything is broken and I can't find any way to fix it and apparently neither can the Internet. Buy something else.....

My new favorite controller by far
I have Turtle beach stealth ultra, Razor wolverine ultimate, ManbaOne v2, and the always disappointing Xbox elite series 2 controllers. I was about to drop the dough on a SCUF Instinct Pro when I found this absolute unit while watching review vids, and I'm so glad I did. This is the PC/Xbox controller of my dreams! First off build quality is superb, it fits my hands perfectly and the button layout (especially the expansion buttons) is just intuitive for me. The customization options are unmatched and allow the controller to become THE Absolute Weapon in any game genre I've played with it. the weights and the stick rings make a big difference when balancing out the feel and action in fighting, action and even FPS games. I even use it while playing some non competitive arcade type racing games and space sims even though I have dedicated rigs for the racing and flight/space sims. The D-pad can be the round type or the included cross and the included stick tops provide a good match for any play style. The size, choice of materials, and adjustable weight make this controller awesome IMHO. Now we come to the software... and it's not bad at all once you figure it out. All you really have to do is follow the directions and you will be able to configure this thing to the utmost in precision needed to dominate your games. The preset profiles included by Nacon are good, but if you duplicate each profile you can make your own based on them to set the controller to your taste. Each profile can be set to each type of game and 4 profiles are set in the controller at a time with access on the fly through the press of a button, and you can verify in screen if you want to change button layout which I love. The lighting, gyroscope, and rumble functionality control is great. The different button functions can also be set to actual keyboard buttons if you are a PC gamer which is amazing for RPGs. The control sticks and triggers can be set for sensitivity, length of pull, dead zone, and delay. All in all that is an amazing amount of control over input customization through the software or the onboard screen. I've played games on my gaming PC, Xbox s, and Samsung TV with no connectivity problems. Most of the time I use my PC with the radio dongle inserted in the charging base and on the TV through bluetooth. Okay TLDR; THIS IS THE CONTROLLER OF THE MOMENT BUY IT! Best price, best functionality, best customization of control, best responsiveness. It's simply the best.

Great Controller If You're Willing To Work With It
I'll start by saying this is easily one of the best controllers I've ever bought. There are however some caveats that may make this not good for everyone. First the definite negatives. The software thats used to set up anything for this controller has a poorly thought out ui with controls changing what they do withing the same section. Nothing is explained in detail and if you use this controller on pc you have to constantly switch to Xbox mode to make changes in the software. Many settings don't apply properly and due to having a menu in the controller itself you can very easily run into conflicts between what you set in the app and on the controller. For example I turned off gyro once and was not able to turn it back on without going back through the software. I also learned that this controller has amazing battery life; it was still on after a couple hour gaming session and 8 hours of sleep. The auto off function never activated. My final complaint is the lower back buttons can be kind of hard to reliably press. They're sunken into the grips and shaped oddly. Now for the positive features. Battery life is amazing as I described a moment ago. This controller is very customizable, very very customizable. It comes with multiple weights, physical stick dead zone adjusters, sticks of multiple heights and shaped, gyro options, different profiles, and settings that can be changed on the fly in the built in menus. After some fine tuning this is now my main controller. Its larger than a typical Xbox controller so its great if you like the elite controllers weight and feel but feel slightly cramped using that. I highly recommend this if you're willing to spend a few minutes tinkering. I have only used this on pc and haven't tried on my xbox yet. I'll update this review if I do try it with that.

Finally!!
I've been waiting for a long time for a quality replacement for the absolutely terrible Elite controllers that Microsoft offers. I've endured through 3 Elites (all developed shoulder button and trigger issues, along with stick drift in a very short amount of time), tried the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra (a complete let down with that kind of price point both in build quality and software), and 2 Razer Wolverine V3 Pros (horrible software experience, poor connectivity, bad build quality, even worse support by Razer). The typical offerings of third party controllers have been good to great in only a few places, only to be a letdown in most other features. Nacon almost nailed this controller perfectly. I had thoughts to only give it 4 stars because of some minor "annoyances, but compared to other offerings I had to give it the 5th star. Premium feel and build quality, face and shoulder buttons are just clicky enough but not so much so that it seems more gimmick than functional. Triggers are smooth and offer trigger stops that alters to a mouse click, quick trigger. The software to program is offered both on XBOX as a native app and on PC, and is intuitive enough to accomplish what you need to in remapping buttons and settings. Connectivity has been perfect, booting up the console each time the controller is engaged and turned on. It also comes with a dock, instead of just a charging cable, which is a nice touch. The dock can be a tad finicky to seat the controller properly, but nothing too bad. The added extra sticks, weights, and stick rings are fantastic. They apply with a satisfying click, and are easy enough to take off to change out. The weights are unique and allow for the right amount of heft that suits you, easily inserted into the hand grip portion by way of covers that slide off of each side. The minor issues mentioned would be that the battery life isn't amazing. Probably due to the screen, but you can remedy that a bit by dialing down the brightness. A lot of companies are adding 2 extra paddles right where the grips are that seem to me to be useless. I found this to be something that in on the Razer V3, and I had to disable them completely because I couldn't not hit them accidently. Additionally, the profile swap button is on the bottom of the controller right where my finger lays and I have found that I've accidently changed the profile I'm on mid game. Again, these are very minor, especially considering how long I've waited for a controller that gets me from ever having to go back to the trash Elite controller ever again. Lastly, at this point, no controller should be without minimum hall effect sticks, which this controller has. So they even check that middle Bingo square of the bare minimum and company should hit (see Microsoft who still refuses to put hall effect stick on a $200+ controller that is notorious for stick drift). All in all, I recommend this controller to anyone and everyone looking for a premium experience out of an XBOX controller.

Feature-packed pro controller, but hard to justify the high price tag for younger gamers
My 11-year-old son bought this controller with his own money, but soon after trying it out, he quickly realized he didn't see enough value in it for what it costs and asked me to list it on eBay to get his funds back. To be fair, it's not a bad product at all. The hardware is premium, featuring Hall Effect anti-drift sticks, mechanical micro-switch buttons, an LCD display for profile tweaks, and a sleek charging station setup. It feels well built. Has nice vibration responses. The wireless connection works smoothly across Xbox, which was what he used it for. The issue comes down to the high price point. For an 11-year-old who just wants to jump into games and play, the endless deep customization options—like swappable weights, joystick rings, and software remapping—are way overly complex and don't add enough everyday fun to justify the steep cost. A standard wireless pad or a basic pro controller does the job just as well for a fraction of the price. If you're a hardcore competitive PC or Xbox player who loves tweaking every single dead zone, trigger stop, and weight setting, there's plenty to like here. But for younger or casual gamers, it's expensive overkill.

High quality, with lo
I'm very pleased with the quality and level of customizability. I've been using this for a few months on my Xbox Series X and PC and so far so good. The app on Xbox and the PC app are pretty easy to use, though some disagree. If you struggle with them, there are plently of videos on youtube that explain how to operate the app. The controller is also able to be customized via the controller itself using the LCD Screen. Personally I've had no issues other than the battery indicator not fully tracking the status of the battery (a problem that has since resolved it self over a few weeks). This may have been alleviated via a firmware update or just use over time. I bought this to replace my elite series 2 controller that after about two years had a defective right bumper and stick drift. The problems of that controller are non-existant so far with this one. Needless to say im impressed. The feel of this controller is great, the functionality is superb, and build quality is worth every last penny. It's not cheap, but its definitely worth the purchase.
