bioClarity 3-Step Clear Skin Routine (Full Size) for Oily or Acne-Prone Skin | 100% Clean, Vegan Ingredients

At first, I was very excited to try this product because of the generally positive reviews. I've had chronic acne for all of my adult life. Dermatologist recommended products never really worked for me so I decided to try a more "natural" skin care routine. THE BIGGEST SCAM about this is that the front of the bottle seems to list all of the ingredients but yet on the back of the bottle you will see there are at least 15-30 more ingredients, with names I don't recognize (not usually a good sign). Makes sense because it's abrasive on my skin and smells so bad/ chemically. The worst part is, at first I thought the spot treatment was helping at first, but I noticed wherever I applied that spot treatment, I would have a few pimples the next day or two in that same spot. It was actually causing me to have even more acne that I had before. It was worse than my high school years! Starting today I am stopping the use of this product. I really gave it a fair run too, used it for 5 weeks, trying to convince myself that my skin just needed time to adjust. Now I believe it is causing more harm than good for my skin. I know all skin is different but I will just say if salicylic acid has not proven to work well with your skin in the past, bioClarity is not a miracle solution. The photo was taken today, after 5 weeks of diligence with the skin care routine.

I received this on June 15 and have been using the products only once per day, at night before I go to bed (note that they recommend you use this stuff twice per day). I typically have combination skin...a little oily in my t-zone, but no severe dryness or anything like that. Now after using the products only about four times, I have dry, flaky patches on my cheeks and an EXTREMELY dry patch on my chin - I'm talking about a red, visibly peeling, rough, dry patch. Needless to say I won't be using this stuff again. Waste of money. They say this is good for all skin types, but I wouldn't use this if you have skin that is even remotely "dry" - and I'm using that term loosely.

I've been using this system for a whole month now. I use all three steps at night and step 1 in the mornings followed by moisturizer because otherwise my skin would get too dry. This means that I have quite a bit of product left over that I'm still using. I feel like it has eliminated some redness I had and it's useful at stopping zits from getting worse. I like how it makes my face feel nice and clean. I've noticed my pores getting smaller. I love that it's cruelty free and the packaging was very pretty. But as you can see, my face looks pretty much the same and I did break out more the first week I used it. Side note about packaging, I think that it would be helpful if the little pamphlet they include had some instructions on it rather than just more products you can buy.However, I haven't lost hope and I will try making other lifestyle changes to see if it all comes together within the next month.

I had really high hopes for this product. I have adult acne and haven't had much luck with finding something that would help keep it at Bay. I also wouldn't say I have sensitive skin. I have used other "natural" products and didn't have an adverse reaction...until now...This product burned my skin and dried it out, and I've never had dry skin. I'm currently on day three of pain and burning. They are also very vauge on how to use their product. Use at your own risk.

I’ve been trying so many products for my adult acne that recently came back with a vengeance. Within days I saw a big difference that I hadn’t seen with any other products that I’ve tried. I do have combination skin that tends towards being more dry. I only use the cleanser at night to avoid over drying my skin. Instead I wash with water and a gentle toner. I spot treat with the “treat step” and put the green lotion all over my face. If you have dry skin I definitely think you should add on the lotion that is sold separately because I definitely needed extra moisture. Overall a great kit, just wish it included the moisturizer!

I am now three weeks into this product and wanted to be able to give a real, honest opinion. All I can say is, I wish I found it sooner! I have struggled with breakouts on my chin (what I call the “hormone zone”) since turning 30 and I’m now 35. So you can imagine how many expensive products I have tried in 5 years to combat it. This is the first product that has cleared me...literally not a single pimple on my face as I type this. Not only that, I’m not drying out (using it two times a day and putting a thin layer of pimple cream on my chin twice a day after washing) and I didn’t have the first week breakout that others have spoken about. If you are on the fence, just try it! I’m so grateful my friend told me about it!

I wanted to love this product, but my sensitive/oily skin was so unhappy after one full week of use (twice daily). I understand the "purge phase" is something to consider, but after noticing that blemishes began to appear in parts of my face that never breakout, I knew this was a reaction and I stopped asap. I gave 2 stars because I love the cruelty free mission of this product/company, but my honest review is that I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using BioClarity for nine weeks. My skin has never been this broken out. It has gotten significantly worse since I began using BioClarity. I was hoping this would be a nice more natural alternative to the harsh chemicals in other skincare products. I was told to give it at least 8 weeks to get the best results, the longer I continued using it the worse my skin has gotten. Disappointed. It may work well for some people but does not work well for me.Update: 2 years later I forgot I had tried this in the past and used it again. I have the worst cystic acne that is super painful after using it for 2-3 months. I will not be making this mistake AGAIN.
