How does a menstrual disc differ from a cup?

A disc sits flat, higher up behind the pubic bone, while a cup is bell-shaped and sits lower, creating a suction seal. To remove a disc, hook a finger under the rim and pull. A cup requires pinching the base first to release suction before removal.

How do I insert and remove it?

To insert: Wash your hands, pinch the rim of the disc into a narrow shape, slide it in at a downward angle, and tuck the front rim behind your pubic bone. Pro tip: Wetting it first can help! To remove, hook a finger under the rim and pull it out.

How long can I wear the disc? Will it leak?
