I put my toddler's car to charge and after about ten minutes, when i touched the charger it was extremely hot. I pulled it out of the outlet and let it cool off. It did give the car a tiny bit of charge but it was only enough for the headlights to come on for couple seconds. I put it back to charge for the entire day, checking to make sure the charger was cool and it was only because it was no longer working.
