Very well made safety belt for the price. It certainly can hold me at 200 pounds. The carabiners don’t function very well. I had to remove the safety clips which keep the carabiners closed. They were a real pain to try and manipulate while 40 feet up on a roof attempting to hook onto an antenna mast. Easy to remove and problem solved. Would recommend

I needed to trim a tree that required some climbing and given my past experience using a lineman's safety belt and spurs, decided to buy these because of the price. After opening it, this belt is nowhere near the quality of lineman's belt (lineman's belt are typically leather which I climbed a 90 ft pole). The belt material is nylon so I'm not sure how much you can go up a tree with this belt, The same goes for the clips which as reviewed by some, hard to lock in place. The product should have a table for height supported, weight and/or diameter of pole/support.Still was a good cheap product. It might do the job for me but as always, practice safety when climbing.

The belt works fine and is easy to wear with other gear if all you need is a hands-free connection to a tree or pole. It doesn't have a lot of back support, but this isn't for daily use. I use my own rope and carabiners, not the strap that came with the belt. I am rating only the belt. I dinged 1 star because I don't like the buckle which works, but I fight the strange design. I didn't like the carabiners that came with the belt which have a strange locking mechanism.

With a medical issue, I suddenly get faint a few times a year. With that problem or without it, this product allows me to climb a ladder and attach myself to the ladder or tree while I complete a task. I feel much safer using it.

Used this in conjunction with the anchor choker I also bought. It gave me just enough length and security to walk on the porch roof to put Christmas lights on the second floor gutters. Very happy.

fits fine and does the job for me. used several times climbing a couple of antenna towers

Locking buckle hard to deal with but is ok for occasional use

Be prepared to replace the clips. Extremely poor design and low quality
