Animals Mix 'n' Match

These are so great! They are really good quality, with thick, sturdy, colorful magnets. We got the animal one and the random shapes one for our 2.5 and 4 year olds, and they are amazing. The perfect toy to bring to the doctors office, church, or anywhere the kids need to sit quietly for a while. Our 4 year old finds the animal one extremely easy, so she rarely does that one (although it is well suited for the 2.5 year old). It took the 4 year old a few weeks to figure out the random shapes one (I had to help scaffold how to find the right pieces and place them in the right arrangement), but once she got the hang of it, she's become very creative with it, and it keeps her focused for a long time. My only complaint is that the container that holds the magnets in the base is a weird fit, and pieces are always slipping under the lip or into the sides. This never makes the pieces fall out or get lost, just difficult to get out, especially for a toddler, which is annoying. But that's minor compared to all the pros of these magnet books!

This product is so cute! I love the fact that all the pieces can be carried in its own box for travel. I bought this for my granddaughter who is 4. The pieces are a nice size to hold and very bright and colorful. I have put this away for a Christmas present but I know she is going to love it! I have already ordered 2 more puzzles by Jarod because I was so happy with the quality of the product.

The children I used this with found it very engaging. At its core, it is a puzzle, but the magnetic pieces make it more interactive and motivating than many traditional puzzles. They enjoyed matching the pieces to the picture cards and building the animals on the magnetic scene. I found it useful for targeting puzzle skills, visual discrimination, matching, and following directions. It also provided opportunities for animal vocabulary and conversation about animal features. The magnetic format keeps the pieces organized and makes it easy to use at home, in therapy, or while traveling. Overall, this was a well-designed activity that held children’s attention and encouraged learning through play.

Perfect for our 4yo. The straps that hold the lid open/up broke pretty quickly. Not sure if it was due to quality or just a toddler being a tornado 😂. Either way it still gets played with.

This is such a fun activity to keep my toddler busy! My two year old loves animals so she was very excited to get this. I love that it’s a magnetic almost like an animal puzzle. This will be great for on the go especially on a flight. The colors are very vibrant and the animals look very nice! I think my girl will be playing with these for some time!

This kept my son entertained on a very miserable drive - there are so many ways to play! Create your own dragon, pick a card, or make up a story. The magnets stick well and seem like good quality. They also are large enough that they don’t get lost easily. It’s compact and light, so it would work great to take on a flight. I’m planning on buying another one for our next big trip!

Janod Magneti Books are a favourite in our house! They are great for play and learning with small children. They are well made. We also like to take ours when we travel in the car or on planes as they are fab for entertainment.
