Eat Me Guilt Free Protein Brownie – Low Carb, Low Sugar, Keto-Friendly Brownies – 12 Count, Chocolate Brownie

I read the reviews on these brownies and was optimistically pessimistic but wanted something chocolaty for my Sunday cheat days so I decided to take a chance. But before I go any further, let me preface this by saying I am doing intermittent fasting every day between 4 & 7 pm, the Keto diet with my carbs staying at 10 grams of carbs or less and 800 calories a day. Sundays are my "cheat" days that I allow myself 20 grams of carbs or less and 1000 calories. This is a 45 day routine to lose this last 15 STUBBORN pounds of the 54 I have already lost. SO with that being said, these brownies are an amazingly delicious snack I treat myself to on Sundays. The people that gave a negative review I wonder if they have gone any amount of time eating a low carb/low calorie diet because I am certain if they had they would know that ANYTHING would taste delicious. Are these better than homemade brownies that have 55 grams of carbs per piece. NO! Are they better than an ounce of nuts with the same amount of carbs? Absolutely undeniably yes! They are moist, nutritious, and a guilt free indulgence that will not knock me out of ketosis! Delicious!!!!

I am a competitive powerlifter and am always looking for high protein "treats". Although only 14 grams of protein (they used to be much more before they changed their recipe), at 14 grams these are still pack a fair amount of protein, I have found the taste to be very good. They are moist, not dry. I snack on one or two a day, usually before I retire for the evening. Fairly low in calories, is that is your thing! I don't think you can go wrong by trying one batch and seeing what you think. I also buy their high-protein bread and tortillas.

I ordered these in February of 2020. All of the brownies I ordered were dry and hard and crumbled easily. I honestly assumed that's how they were designed to be. I added a slight amount of almond milk to the bottom of a plate, set a brownie on top and microwaved for 11 seconds to try to add moisture. The outside was better but still dry. They have a strong aftertaste due to the artificial sweeteners, but I don't mind that. After reading actual reviews, these brownies are supposed to be SOFT. I'm wondering if mine were old or handled improperly by the middle man. I'm going straight to the source now and I'll update with how the product differs.Update: wow! Soft and straight from the source, these things are amazing! The aftertaste is less when they are fresh as well. I would order directly from the source if you can, much better taste and quality.

I had a fresh protein brownie from GNC it was soft and moist. The ones delivered here are not expired but dry and less flavorful. It's too bad bc these are a great snack when fresh.

The taste and chewy texture of these brownies are a thumbs up for me. They fit well into a Keto diet, too. One of these brownies and a bottle of water keeps me full for hours. I keep some in my car for a snack after working out or working at the barn. Unlike other protein bars, they don’t melt in the heat. I have also tried the Blondie version of this product, but do not recommend those. The Blondies have a nice texture, but taste aweful. FYI.Update: The last two boxes of these brownies have been terrible. The brownies arrived dry and hard despite the alleged 2020 expiration stamped on the packaging. They crumble apart and are nothing like the previous orders. Very disappointed. These used to be my go-to snack after a busy day at the barn or after the gym.I’m hoping the company will make things right, but I’m sending this order back. Yuck!Oct 2019 update:I was advised this Amazon vendor refrigerates the product, which makes the texture dry and crumbly. Buy directly from the manufacturer for the proper chewy texture.

These are the best low carb sweet snacks I have ever had. I have been buying the brownies for one month. I constantly struggle with not eating sweets, but these have helped me sooo much. They truly are guilt free. Also I have no problem hitting my protein macros anymore. I have tried chocolate, tuxedo, galaxy, cinnamon toast, lemon, & pumpkin spice. The original chocolate is my favorite! My 2nd favorite is cinnamon then galaxy, then lemon.I have bought boxes directly from the company & Amazon. I can’t taste a difference.The ONLY thing is I wish they were cheaper. I’m eating 2 brownies a day. Thankfully Amazon sells them so I save a little $. In my opinion they are worth the $.

I have ordered these several times over the past few years (despite how much I hate the packaging and branding; I'm embarrassed to have anyone see the wrapper) and they used to be the best protein brownie, with good flavor and good macros. Something changed recently about the recipe and they're both more crumbly and worse tasting. I wish they had said they were changing the recipe; I wouldn't have ordered multiple boxes if I knew I might not like the change.

I have ordered before. This time was horrible. So dry and crumble to the touch. Not even eatable. So upset because my first experience with them were great..
