Better than I expected
This cage turned out to be better than I expected. My boyfriend put it together for me. There was no cussing involved and it went fairly quickly. Now, he is handy with stuff like this but some things things give him problems. This didn't. Going strictly off the measurements when I ordered it, I was afraid it was going to be too small for my Congo African Grey but the dome top saves it. It is a tad narrow but I'm using this as a cage to cart with me when I stay at a condo for a few weeks at a time. For that, it is perfect. Please note, this cage is NOT suitable for an African Grey sized parrot as their normal, everyday, live in cage!!. As a sleep cage, travel cage, play cage, etc, it's great. The dowel perches that come with it are not as narrow as I thought they would be and they will be fine for my Grey's feet. It does only have 2 food bowls, it would've been nice if it had a 3rd for fresh foods but for me that isn't a problem, my Grey is quite tame. The bar spacing is good for a Grey and up, I would hesitate to put a tiel or budgie in here, matter of fact, I was thinking about getting one of these as a travel cage for my quaker too, and I think the bar spacing is a bit too wide for even him. This would be ok for a Goffins as well, a larger sized Conure, possibly an Eclectus, basically what I call a medium sized bird. The stand and cage both are a little flimsy and if you have large dogs that play around the cage, I could see it getting knocked over easily but for the price (under $100.00 for the stand, cage, 2 dishes that are accessible from the outside, open playstand top which is kind of a joke and I wouldnt use) I would recommend it. It does come with a tray and grate that you don't have to take the whole cage apart to get to for cleaning, each comes out separately and the cage does come off the stand. For what I wanted, it's perfect.

Good, cheap cage for Green Cheek Conure.
This is a great cage for my GC conure. Plenty of room, so I don't feel bad when I have long work days. In fact, so much room that it looked very empty the first few days (pictured). I've since then added other perches and toys. The instructions were definitely lacking - I ended up reading reviews and looking at the picture to get it together. You have to crimp some parts together. I had trouble with this, because I didn't have the right tools and because it requires a decent amount of hand strength. I don't use the top very often, but when I do my GCC is super happy to climb around up there. I did get two perches, plus the one on the top. I've added more since, and there's room to do so. My only complaint about the set up is that I wish the food/water cups were higher - I've had to shift things around a few times before finding a good setup that didn't allow poop in the containers. The containers do fit snug into the holders - I've realized that one is snugger then the other, and I put the water in the loose one and food in the snug one. The perch does move super easy on the wheels. I have it placed where it's safe from my doggies crazy antics, and birdy got used to the movement when i opened and closed the cage door. I love the large opening - so easy to get everything to clean, and get my playful GCC! I don't use the second, smaller opening very often. The door does close firmly, same with the food/water doors, which is great. I have to twist tie closed all the doors on my GCC night cage, because he can open all of them and do jail-breaks. The floor is adequate for my GCC. He's rarely down there, but occasionally does go play with a few of the foraging toys down there. All in all, a great cage for the price. Just be aware you'll have a bit of fun putting it together.

But I feel like it deserves two
I'm giving three stars because once it is put together, it is cute and spacious. But I feel like it deserves two. Like other reviews stated, the instructions are really garbage. They are very vague with hardly any directions. So it does take some brain power to put this cage together. You also need to have a set of pliers handy. My biggest downfall is that the front door sticks and is not easy to open and close, I can't use wd40 seeing as it is a parrot cage, but will try some olive oil to see if it helps with the gliding to open and close. It has a larger door and smaller door which is cool I guess. Another downfall is the foodbowls that came with the cage, the bowls can't sit all the way into the holders because the bolt that is on the holder to hold it onto the cage is sticking out. There is nothing you can do about this seeing as the bolt is welded on. But, the doors on the cage can easily have new food bowls installed, I intend to buy some.I guess you can't complain too much to have the space and only spend $95. It's almost too big for our 11 week old Hahns Macaw. Yes, I said too big. However, since this cage is not very durable, I would not use it for my African Grey, or Goffins Cockatoo, and definitely any birds bigger than they are. Out Hahns is the same size as a small conure, just with a long tail (12 inches total length). In conclusion, would I recommend this to a friend? Probably not for a medium sized bird or anything bigger. I would definitely warn them to the cheap quality feel that is does have. But it is cute.
