I am in the military and on our last move we left the majority of our tools in Alaska. We had the same set in Alaska bought another set for where we are now. Havent used new set yet but worth having. A whole set for what it would cost to buy just two sockets at an autoparts store. And these are high quality will hold up to professional daily use in a shop

The sockets are heavy duty. In fact a little too heavy duty for the box. They weighed a lot! When they were delivered the box was dislodged but not broken. It's doesn't really have good clasps, in fact, mine only had one, it looks like it was supposed to have two. I can't drop a star for that, because I mean really, who plans on carrying these axle sockets around. I might actually just separate the top and leave it open in the tool box.

This appears to be one of the best deals you can get for affordable metric axle nut sockets. 9 piece with only one skip (37mm). Black oxide finish looks a but rough and size is printed on the sockets so with heavy use they may need to be relabeled somehow. The drive side and driven side are both chamfered very nicely and there appear to be no sharp edges.The case is cheap blow-molded plastic and feels quite flimsy. When the product arrived, one of the latches had popped off, the sockets had come out of their respective recesses in the case and the handle was held shut with a zip tie. Upon close inspection, everything was still present in the box, nothing was broken and I was able to put it all back together. This is the main reason for knocking it down a star. Whomever packages this product for shipping obviously has no idea what they are doing.Shipping was impressively fast. I chose the economy option and received my product in 3 or 4 days.Buyer beware. These are, as indicated, 3/4" drive sockets, as indicated in the description. They are only compatible with a 1/2" impact, ratchet or breaker via an adaptor.

I bought the whole set just for the 36mm socket that I need to remove the axle nut on my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I used it in conjunction with the 1/2" female to 3/4" male adapter on my 1/2" impact gun. The 36mm socket survived my 1050 ft-lb impact gun so as the adapter. I don't mind buying the whole set for $49 when a single socket is about $25. I might use the other sizes in the future.

Really like what I received, tired of buying one at a time, having them all in one place is great. Good quality, at least $15;a piece around Maine,so great price....glad to have them in my garage.

Imagine my surprise when I unbagged the sockets (individually placed in oiled bags) and placed the sockets back in the plastic case cutouts (they got bounced around in shipping) and found two sockets marked 32mm. And yet one looked slightly larger than the other. So I measured them with a micrometer and sure enough one was larger, and there was none market 33mm as there should have been. So I assume that one of those sockets marked 32mm is actually the miss-marked 33mm socket. So 4 stars.

I tried to find a local 34mm deep well for my 2009 Saturn Outlook. Everyone local wanted $20.00 or more and I would have to order it. For $20.00 more I got this whole set in 3/4" drive. I was able to stand on a 3/4" drive breaker bar with these sockets to break my axle nut loose. I'm 215 pounds and I had to pull on the fender while jumping to break the nut loose. These sockets did the job and I'm happy with the purchase.The storage case is OK, but thin.
