This is a beautiful book. I am a newcomer to the art of needlecraft and some of the designs are small enough for me to have a go. There are plenty of instructions ranging from simple embroidery stitches to sizing the design, including guides on techniques and materials needed.

I found this book disappointing. Projects are few and lacking in imagination. Probably ok for those new to Redwork and handwork.

Purchased book but so far have not started any of the products but they do look very nice something to fill the winter months

For cross stitch fanatics who love one-colour designs this is a lovely book and can be used for own ideas

I have yet to get down to producing an item from this book,but it looks to be very useable, clearly written etc. Good photos which always helps with embroidery.
