This is the best tenderizer a person can have. The only issue I have with it is that when you have large pieces of meat you will take a little more time to tenderize. I wish they made them larger. It works well with chicken and pork steaks.

Really like that it is quick and easy to use. Much better than my old style meat tenderizer mallet. Easy to clean too! Makes a great stocking stuffer for grill masters.

Ideal for my roast pork. The flat plastic piece that moves along the spikes came apart after a few uses. Still works and gets the job done.

The first time I used mine it gave me issues with the white plate with the holes in it getting stuck with 1 side near the top and other near the bottom . So it was lopsided. I could easily take my finger and give it a little nudge and it retracted back down . I believe it’s due to the metal pins being warped or bent in which I received it that way. So it is usable. The plastic is cheap and thin for it to be a tenderizer/ marinade utensil. Idk of anyone that softly and gently does either one. Plus, if you’re like me you’re usually in a hurry because you have a list out the door of tasks needed to be completed before………metal pins seem sturdy .i received 2 so maybe that’s the reason for the cheap price. Back up for when and if the first one bites the dust. We shall see.

If you want to purchase cuts of meat that you save money on but still want the meat to be nice and tender just use these utensils on the meat! The needles penetrated deep into the meat so it is nice and tender after slow cooking. I do recommend using a bit of meat tenderizer to ensure tenderness and flavor.

Never eat tough meat again. I love this item! So simple to use & I love the safety feature on it as well. I was so impressed that I gave my mom the extra one & she loves it to. Easily poke beef, pork, fish & chicken for tenderness. Makes marinating a breeze. This stays on my countertop 24/7. I'll be buying more for gifts!

I pulled them out Of the box and pressed the plate down to test the spring. The first one sprung back and over sprung immediately, making it useless. The second one was of the same construction, and I could tell that it wouldn’t last long. The spikes are nice and sharp, but the action of the tool Is weak and flimsy. I had a tool similar to this for years and it worked great. I will re-order another brand.

I like the way this works, in the fact that makes no mess. A bit junky feeling, dishwasher safe, but have to drain water out when done.

Good value as it comes in a pair, 1 black and 1 white. It can be made sturdier but it does its job OK.
