I like these. They work well for fingerprinting, both guitar and banjo.

Love these thumb picks. Comfortable and make the banjo easy to play.

I wish they had a method to determine what size fitsthe thumb. S,M,L is not enough because it could beanything. I ordered a medium and it fit really snug.So I do not know how long before it breaks. Other thanthat these are GREAT picks way better than the others,firm and tip last long... I should have gotten the large sowill do that next time.

This has the nicest profile of any thumb pick I've tried so far. I'm using these for country blues and ragtime on an acoustic, and the pick sticks out enough to be easy to pluck strings without getting in the way when you change positions. It works OK for picking single note runs, but doesn't excel in that application.I had to soak mine in hot water for a minute to soften it up and fit it to my thumb, as it was initially too small. After enlarging it a bit, it fits very comfortably.

The absolute best. Quick disclaimer: They are a little “tall” for my taste, but they sound and feel fantastic. I just hit em with a quick file and they’re perfect. They last forever too.

My wife has used these thumbpicks for 25 years or more. It's the only brand she will use. "Nuff said.

Comfortable fit and smooth action on banjo strings. Not too long. I liked the length compared to some of the other thumb picks I've used that would sometimes hang onto internal strings.

This one works for me.

Overpriced, big meh

Beautiful mellow sound produced From these thumb picks whether playing guitar or banjo. On my acoustic guitar they really do sound superb. The reason I tried these was that the part that you actually pick the strings with, is very slightly longer than the usual, just what I was looking for. When they need replacing, I know the brand name I’ll be searching for…….Golden GateFabulous.

I've been playing banjo for 47 years, professionally. I've used a Golden Gate MEDIUM thumbpick for 20 years. It broke, I switched to a medium National thumbpick, while I ordered these MEDIUM thumbpick. I am so disappointed! They are equivalent to a SMALL. Maybe stuff has been mislabeled, I don't know, but look at the photo.Johnny Butten, Guinness World Records, 'Fastest banjo player'.
