I use it for making sauerkrout, it gets job done fast and easy. Very happy with it. My old one had a plastic food container, this stainless steel part is much safer, I know I won't get plastic particles into my food.

Wonderfully sharp blades. Powerful motor and easy to fit lid. (I have returned two other similar choppers because the motor portion did not easily fit the bowl. ) I use this to chop tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers and parsley to make chopped salad--the pieces are reliably consistent. I chop ginger and garlic into a paste for Indian dishes. Also to make hummus, to make almond and oat flour, to finely chop parsley for chimichurri, to grind steak for steak tartare, to chop walnuts, to puree tomatoes and other veg. I am delighted with this chopper and keep it at the ready on my counter. I love how easy it is to clean the stainless steel bowl.
