I bought the size they recommend. That does not work! The foam part goes from my heel to almost the top of my toes, but the metal inside is small than the foam part and only covers from my heel to the ball of my foot. Leaving all my toes exposed to punchers. This has happened several time the short time I have had them. The metal part works well, the locusts thorns do not penetrate. Will buy the next size up today and see how that works.

Buyer beware. The metal insole of the foot is so narrow that it would not protect anyone's whole foot. I returned mine! What a misrepresented product! Look closely at the pictures and you will see just how narrow it is!

I recommend scraping off all the foam down to the bare metal and pairing these up with your favorite comfortable insole.Wearing these with just the foam it comes with will guarantee hurting feet.
