Slight Hiccups at first, then Total Failure Less than a Year Later
UPDATE (9/4/20): I was optimistic about this battery, but recent events have forced me to change my initial 5-star review to a 3-star. It began about a week ago, when the battery completely failed, without warning. It didn't show any visible signs of failure (the computer said it was totally fine), but when I unplugged my power adapter, the battery would not kick in. At first, I thought I had an issue with my logic board, but thankfully I still had my original Apple battery, which was still well enough to prove that the issue was with the iProPower battery itself, not my MacBook. When I contacted iProPower's customer service, they were quick to respond and were happy to honor the warranty, since I was still within the 12 month period. I'm sad to say, though, that the replacement they sent was a "Used" battery, marked as only being in "Acceptable" condition (and one quick look at it would certainly confirm this). It didn't help either that it came wrapped in a plastic bag. Call me entitled, but I was kind of expecting a "New" battery. Given the condition of this free replacement, I'm not exactly comfortable putting it in my computer, so I guess I'll look elsewhere.Bellow you can find my original reviews.--Installation went fairly smoothly, especially since the adhesion of my previous third party battery had failed long ago. One thing I noticed was that the circuit board needed a little encouragement to line up with the screw holes.I did run into the same issue as another customer, where the battery did not initially charge, but following their instruction of detaching the battery, holding down the power button for 6 seconds, reattaching the battery, and then reattaching the Magsafe power adapter did the trick! The other third party battery, which was an Egoway, lasted about 2 years. According to the product page pictures, this iProPower battery seems to use Egoway parts, or perhaps is rebranded. I will update this review if this new one lasts longer or if I run into any issues!UPDATE (10/18/19): The battery decided that it didn't want to charge this morning. I repeated the steps above and it's charging again, but this better not become a regular occurrence, or else I might need to knock some stars and contact support.UPDATE (11/17/19): There are very rare instances where the battery does not seem to charge. Still not sure if it's the battery or my old computer. Regardless, the issue is resolve by waiting a few seconds longer, after plugging in the power adapter. If it still doesn't appear to charge after a minute, I disconnect the adapter from the wall, or just midway, and then reconnect it after a few seconds. This gets the battery charging again.

Great product and worked liked a charm
Confirmed with seller first correct battery being ordered. Arrived fast. Took less than hour to replace. HINTS: use tape or cup or something to place TINY screws. Mark your tool that takes out screws. You may have to use 2 of 3 provided. But keep track so you don’t have to keep experimenting. Use WD40 or similar adhesive remover for battery removal. WD40 best IMHO. Watch YouTube video for step by step. It’s easy and best. Just follow pause after during each step. Toughest part is prying up the battery from both sides. Gentle and firm, I used small flat head while they used flat card but my way easier. Just be careful. It will pry out. WD40 worked wonders. If you kept your screws separated by where you took out putting back in easy. Now I’m just following drain battery directions for new. Then will recharge to condition. Any issues I’ll repost but it seems to be golden. Saw that Mac already working at 60+ % so I know it’s working.

This works like the original battery in a A1425 MBP
Easy to install although there are lots of little screws to keep track of. Taking a few photos during the removal process will help with screw placement during the reassemble.I used WD40 to release the adhesive on the original battery. Just don't spray it all over the rest of the insides. It doesn't evaporate like alcohol does. You can clean up the WD40 up with lighter fluid. The included screwdrivers are key to this job. You gotta have them. I have a lot of small tools of my own but these are tiny. The assembly went smoothly and the battery had about a 50% charge on it already. I have drained and recharged the new battery 3 times now and it is ready for full service. There is a great 20 min video on this A1425 battery replacement on YT. Check it out.

Battery Specifications as Promised
Installation was simple, but I am a computer science major so this may have been easier for me than most. You will need adhesive remover to take out the old battery. I went into the System Information, and surprising the battery has a higher capacity than the seller listed — which is good. The battery had 0 cycles (uses) as promised. Below is a copy of thebattery information from System Information: Model Information: Serial Number: W01107AW7D3BA Manufacturer: iProPower Device Name: A1437 Pack Lot Code: 3230 PCB Lot Code: 30db Firmware Version: ddae Hardware Revision: dac2 Cell Revision: 2b39 Charge Information: Charge Remaining (mAh): 5283 Fully Charged: No Charging: No Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 6707 Health Information: Cycle Count: 0 Condition: Normal Battery Installed: Yes Amperage (mA): -872 Voltage (mV): 11960

Worked great
I was skeptical because of the lack of reviews. But, just got done installing it (on my A1425), and it works great. The screwdrivers that come with it are trash (hence 4 stars) and quickly stripped, so I'd suggest buying a separate T5 screwdriver along with this set. As far as removing the old battery, I just did a lot of unrecommended prying, but I'm told there's solvent out there that makes it easier.
