This is a good base wifi card to use as a replacement or upgrade. It seems to be a pretty generic card that has worked well in a couple of replacement jobs I've done. If this card matches your laptops slot, then it's a good generic choice at a low cost.

I couldn’t connect to my work WiFi with 3160. After replacing it with 3165, it connected seamlessly. Why are they still selling 3160?

I received 9 Intel 3165s and 1 intel 3168. They all work. Took off a star because of the one 3168
