Maxpedition TC-2 Pouch

Like every other Maxpedition product this thing is a tank, although that may or may not be a good thing depending on what you use it for. I have another Maxpedition pouch similar to this that's made specifically for large phones but I wanted a vertically oriented one that could take some abuse like the other one (which is also excellent). My only criticism is that as a phone case it's a bit overkill but I understand it's not meant strictly for that so it's a good compromise. Everything is stitched extremely well and the materials are top notch. I have no worries this could go through hell and back and survive with a few scuffs, and the strips on the back should make it easy to strap to a backpack if I ever need to. The loop that hangs down I don't really need. It would be nice if there was a way to tuck it out of the way. If they made a vertically oriented phone pouch like their horizontally oriented one I would have bought that instead but this is a good compromise if a bit overkill for a phone.

Fits a Google Nexus 6P perfectly @ 6.27 x 3.06 x 0.29 in, with none to spare on the sides, but a little room to spare vertically if you wanted to carry something longer. There's a rigid separator in the main compartment in case you wanted to store two devices, or a slim power bank, I suppose. The pen loops on the sides are a nice touch, as well as the belt loop and the double cord hangers on the back panel. Made of the same tough nylon as my Maxpedition Gearslinger, I'm sure it will be durable.

Exceptionally well put together, but suffers from several key issues. This would make a very awkward and clunky "holster" for phones and other frequently accessed electronics. The main interior is more a floppy bag than anything else; it lacks the internal structure and stability to make it truly useful as a quick access pouch.It's worth noting that, whereas this item is MOLLE *compatible*, it's not inherently MOLLE attachable right out of the box; for that, you'll need TacTies, or similar, items (sold separately, natch'). Plus, as some other reviewers have noted, this pouch would end up being a tad wobbly even under ideal circumstances.So, while I'm sure I'll find some use or other for this thing (paracord attached kit pouch for the sheath of a larger knife, for example), it's just not really what I anticipated receiving, build quality notwithstanding.

This is my second TC2 and I have recommended it to numerous friends of mine. It is great for the new larger smart phones like my Galaxy note3/5, all new large Apple iPhones, etc. There is even a couple of slots inside the main compartment for credit cards, ID and cash that will keep them sage and out of a criminals reach. The belt loop is sewn on so you won't need any molle attachments. It is usually in high demand, one of my coworkers had to wait a couple of months for Maxpedition to make more before he could buy one from their site. If you see it on Amazon.Com get it immediately. Amazon.com usually has better prices for TC2 with free shipping.

Purchased to carry my IPhone 6 plus cell phone. Some modification was made (just me) to make for a faster insertion and extraction of the cellphone. Long strap and snap was cut off.....completely, unneeded for my purposes, only using the velcrove to keep top closed. I wear in vertical position with civilian clothes. Many different ways to attach to belt or gear. Top quality material, no cons noted. Fits my phone fine, little wide but not a real problem.

As with ALL Maxpedition gear, this is a top quality pouch. It holds secure with the velcro and has a backup clip on it. I wanted a small pouch to keep my phone in, which I have my backpack on. I have an iPhone 5 with an Otterbox defender. So with the case it's a bit bulky, and it fits perfectly inside this pouch. The TC (ti-carry) works well for me, I have it attached to my shoulder strap about mid chest with a 3" tac-tie on the molle webbing. It allows me quick and easy access to my phone, with the velcro holding it closed. If for some reason I know I won't be needing my Phone, or I'm going to be putting the bag off and on a few times and I choose to leave the phone in there, I can secure it even more with the quick clip buckle. There are so many good uses for this pouch, a phone holster is just one.

Wanted this for a Leatherman Surge and a small travel toolkit... (Flashlight, small prybar, lighter, pen, etc..) but, it is oddly sized for that purpose. Despite the Surge's heft and size, it was lost in this deep pouch. If it was shorter and had some internal pockets, it may have worked. Very good, typical Maxpedition quality.

Maxpedition's standard amazing quality however this case is huge. I originally bought it for a case to hold my Samsung S8 cell phone but ultimately used it to hold two (2) Colt M4 30rd magazines because it's just that big! Way to big for a cell phone case if that's what you're thinking.

Great quality, had one for about 5 years previously and put it through grueling daily use. Highly recommend.

Un buon prodotto di ottima qualità, percepibile immediatamente. Ottimi materiali e finiture ma utilizzo limitato, troppo piccolo e pochi scomparti interni! Pensavo fosse più capiente e versatile. Ottimo come portacellulare o porta portafoglio, difficilmente insieme. Io lo uso in moto perché facilmente agganciabile alla cintura. Prezzo discutibile, la fattura non è amaricana... Il design si! Finiremo solo con scrivere recensioni di questo passo🙈! In conclusione bello ma naif, di discutibile utilizzo se non integrato In uno zaino maxpedition di maggiore capienza. Attualmente lo utilizzo come valido fodero per coltelli pieghevoli di media dimensione.

Una funda excelente ya que cuanta con compartimientos internos muy bueno para tarjetas y documentos, el tamaño es tal que puedes guardar un iphone 6plus con funda GRIFFIN SURVIVOR. Lo que la marca debería de mejorar en sus publicaciones son mas fotografías para que el comprador conozca mas información sobre el producto.

I didn't get this for a phone. I put my GPS in it and still have plenty of room for a handful of EDC stuff like a hanky, money clip, keys... ect. Love it. It's actually a bit bigger than what I expected. Great product

Como todo lo de la marca, tiene una excelente calidad de materiales, caben hasta dos telefonos de 16 cm y aparte tiene mas espacio para tarjetas el unico inconveniente para mi gusto, es el broche frontal que puede resultar estorboso para sacar el telefono, pero a la vez muy util para tenerlo seguro.

Great for EDC gears, I carry this pouch every day. The only complaint I have is I wish this come with a belt clip, so I can remove it from the belt while I’m driving.
