Brought these to store wedding photos, the photographer informed us we needed a max. of 4gb storage so i purchased these. Whilst uploading to the drive we ran out of storage quickly with under the suggested space used. we formatted the drive and tried again but was unsuccessful.we returned the item with no quarrel and purchased the same product with a larger storage capacity and had no trouble

Given it 4stars as it's too soon after getting these to get a proper idea on how good they are or how long they last. Update / I have used 4 of these so far and 2 of these malfunctioned so on this ratio I'm downrating these to 2 stars , I don't think I would buy these again

Fast delivery but having just ordered this set of 10 memory sticks it is too soon to say how they perform. However, the previous ten that I bought from the same seller were excellent.

Needs reformatting for Mac but really very simple to use and invaluable to me as a video editor transferring massive files from one computer to another and storing all the final cuts.

Had these a few days, as needed to separate different projects I am working on. I've always used USB's in this way and when my projects are complete, I save to external hard drives. I opened the pack, all nice and bonny. I downloaded to various USBs' and labelled with matching coloured labels. Feeling very pleased with my organisation, I proceeded to work and ensured everything was saved before I then left to make a drink. However, on my return, I was unable to see anything. I contacted my son, a forensic computer guy who took over my laptop, did a few tests and told me that there was no partitioning on the pens and everything was gone. My partner, also a technician, opened the extremely hot USB stick to see that it had indeed overheated.By both technicians, I was told to immediately remove everything I'd downloaded to the other sticks because they are cheaply made and of very poor quality. You get what you pay for and in my case: "Pay for what you get". Believe me, I'm not paying the price!! I have lost 11 months of work and organisation, some precious photographs, reports and documents that I've been working on, that I'll never get back. I'm absolutely furious and upset. I should receive compensation for what these sticks have cost me in real terms.I would strongly advise to use good quality USBs from a reputable company. The 2 computer engineers in my life have told me I shouldn't store anything on a pen anyway and that I should be paying extra for cloud storage, which I now am. I also have several external hard drives, as a back up.
