Good output
I already have an Allpowers Monster Battery pack so thought I would start to take advantage of the increased sunshine. The solar panel is folded - undoing a few clips and you can unfold easily but may be better with two people doing it. The velcro attached legs need a bit of prising off and positioning but that is not an issue.Found that on slightly cloudy days with high 'white' clouds this actually gives better charging and I have seen the panel kick out a full 200W when the sun is out - maybe the clouds actually bounce off more light?Clear blue sky days with full sun and the unit can output 140W which also depends on how you position the panel. I have been ensuring that it is directly facing the sun and often have to just lie it flat on the patio or support it with bricks to get the best angle.I am finding that from 'cold' the panel performs much better than when it has heated up due to the sun shining on it.I have been able to charge the Monster2 from around 45% up to 80% during the day.So far so good - we shall see as time goes on

Powerful and Versatile
I am quite happy with this panel so far. I mainly wanted a quickly deployable portable unit that could cover a solar powerstation input of up to 500W while keeping to ≤ 60V under the not always so sunny skies of England, and it does that pretty well: previously I had been stringing together various series/parallel combinations of smaller panels (and that can take a while to unpack, correctly match and connect everything). Laying the AllPowers 600W panel out more or less flat has worked pretty well for me; my attempts at constructing angled supports or even lifting to vertical, are a work in progress; it is probably easier to get someone to help if you want to hang the whole thing vertically. The 6 subunits unfold into what is basically a 1.8mx1.8m square (3 short sides x 2 long sides) plus an extra canvas flap (the lid of the suitcase), even though one or two of the pictures on Amazon show an oblong version. The support loops for hanging on my version are different from the photos: mine has 3 (not 4) loops (made of sewn in rope I think) each on 2 opposite sides. Hanging the whole weight from the loops with just three at the top seems a bit scary (how long will that last?) but there are many other solutions so all in all not really a problem for me. And Watt for Watt this powerful panel is quite a lightweight.I’ve only had this panel a short time so cannot really indicate durability but overall it does seem well made and adaptable to different situations. I guess the extent to which it is a good buy depends upon the vouchers/deals/offers/discounts you may find along the way but I do like the product.

Amazing panel, great quality and generates a lot of power
The Allpowers 400W panel is a large panel for gathering a significant amount of power. It is foldable and portable but it's bigger and heavier than traditional panels because, well it has to generate 2-4x the power. It is great however for camper vans and off grid living. The panel will quickly replenish your portable power station, it'll keep it charge up during the day and make sure you don't have to worry about running out of juice.Quality of the panels are amazing, energy production is great and setup is simple and easy with the folding supports tucked in to the back of the panels.Great product, fair price considering the quality, very pleased.

A good portable solar panel with minor issues
After using this solar panel for a few months I can confirm it delivers at least 100W of power when in full Scottish April sunshine. The power reduces considerably if there is cloud or something casts a shadow. But these panels are light enough to move around the garden to follow the sun. I have some minor niggles. The panels are hard to fold up. I wish the joints were looser and the strap could be adjusted. They are also quite floppy and need support and protection from the wind when in use. The built in "legs" are useless in real situations. But I am pleased with their performance overall.

Bigger and heavier than expected
This solar panels kit was bigger and heavier than I expected, even after looking at the dimensions in the product details, and it being so big it is a challenge to unravel out into a line. The supports don't have a cross brace so the panels themselves bow quite badly. I set it up for testing in a sheltered area with no wind and it was still a challenge to ge the line of panels to hold position without one or more of the kickstands folding back in and collapsing. Also, despite coming with a DC charging adapter cable it doesn't appear to have any charging regulator/controller built in so cannot be used directly into a 12V DC input on a device. For the price (£700 RRP when writing this review), I expected a lot better as I could've got 2 x 200W kits with charge controllers for a lot less than this. I am returning it as don't feel it is fit for purpose for anything except charging a power station from the same manufacturer, and mine is a different brand.

Began de-laminating and burning out in patches within days
We were hoping that the tech had improved a bit since we first, unsuccessfully, tried to invest in a solar charged generator a few years ago. This panel seemed like a good idea and if it worked would produce a useful amount of charge, even with our limited sunshine. Unfortunately, within days of delivery, on a sunny but not hot day, patches appeared on some of the panels, where the surface appeared to be delaminating. On one panel, a patch approx 3cm diameter melted and burned. One of the other delaminated patches began to go too. It happened so suddenly, it was lucky we were looking at it at the time, so could disconnect the panel/s quickly. I can't imagine what might have happened if we hadn't been nearby, if it had been left charging for longer, burned further definately, caught fire I don't know but I suspect that there is a risk of that. I would advise any other new buyers to not leave the panel unattended while in use.The faulty panel was collected quickly through the returns system but I don't know if I will get a refund on the panel or on the warranty I bought
