Just read my discrption
Ok, so thies Bed Risers or anything else you would like to Rise, are pretty good. This is not listed in the discrption but they are rated to hold up to 300lbs per riser. It says it on the riser itself. This is not so bad but obviously not the best...after all thies are plastic. Now that you get the general idea about this riser im going to get more into detail about this hoping people will understand certain things. So the serface area in witch your beds "leg" (or whatever you plan to use this on) will sit on thies riser is about 3in by 3in. So if the leg of your bed, sofa or whatever you plan to use this for is wider than 3in by 3in then your out of luck. But if not then your good to go. So now that you know if your good to go or not here is more advice and or detail however you want to take this. So if the leg on your bed is very thin like about an inch or 1 1/2 in think twice b4 getting this. People complain about how thies break and the leg of there bed just goes right thru the riser and all but dont stop to think about how if your using this for your bed (lots of weight will be on this PLASTIC riser) and your bed legs are very small and cant take advantage of the space on the riser available properly to allow an even weight distribution on the riser witch will then lead to all the weight being forced on to a small section of this riser and then leading to the plastic getting weak due to inproper weight distribution on the PLASTIC riser and then eventually break. So think a little bit. Dont get be wrong tho, thies are some sturdy and thick risers i am very content with them. But it was just my luck that the legs on my sofa fits nearly perfectly into this riser witch makes me feel comfortable as the weight is being properly applyed to the riser like it should be. Ok now that hopefully you understand what i was getting at up there, now you may be thinking (if your bed/sofa has really thin legs) is this for me? Can i still make it work? Yeah you can but you will need to get a bit craftey. So instead of putting those thin legs onto the riser itself, you can cut a fairly thick pice of wood and apply it into the space where you would put the leg of your bed/sofa and then put the bed on top of that. What dose this do you might ask, well since your putting the thin leg of your bed/sofa on top of the pice of wood that is utilizing all of the space on the riser...this then applys all the weight evenly on to the riser. ...if you dont understand then im sorry i did my best but hopefully you did. Dont forget they are rated at 300lbs per raiser!!! So if you utilize the space provided on the riser properly and are using 4 at a time you should be safe for 600lb...im not garenteeing it but on the riser itself says "maximum weight per riser 300lb" Hope i helped! Oh and as for people who have wheels on the bottom of there bed, as long as the wheels are pretty wide then i dont think you should worry but if not then maby look for something else or go with the pice of wood thing i sed earlier in the discrption. ***Update 7/15/15 So it has been about half year using thies risers and i must say i have no problems with them, no cracks stretchs or anything. Like i sed makee sure the weight is applyed evenly and you should be good. I recently bought a new futon that i use nightly with my wife and everything is sold ๐

Good Product, but not perfect...
Great concept and fairly sturdy seeming. I like the concept that you can either lift the bed up higher or even tilt your bed on an angle if you suffer from GERD to have the head higher. The negative is that there is only 4 of each size (8 total) and our queen bed frame has 6 castors/wheels that touch the floor (2 middle supports). So because of this I HAD to raise the head by using 3 of the 4 larger ones for the head side, and 3 of the 4 smaller ones for the foot side. I also noticed that if you take the castor wheels off and use these without the wheels, after one night the smaller metal frame (where the wheel goes in) pushing on these sturdy plastic risers did dent or push them in slightly. The ones with the castor wheels on them did not dent in at all. So I recommend you keep the wheels on, but I also tested the sturdiness with a lot of weight... I had approximately 650lbs on the bed and it held good. Donโt forget thatโs with using 6 of these at the same time. 4 may not hold that much weight. So, all in all Itโs a good product, but wish they included 6 of each size for a total of 12 instead of the 8 it comes with! For queen and king beds that have 2 center support legs, you will either need to buy 2 packs, or make the head of the bed higher and angle it, which will help GERD sufferers some.

Risers that work. Very stable,
For 4-5 years I have used these to raise up my bed for an under storage area. They work great! I have 3 per each bed post- stacked on top of each other. They don't shift or wobble.

A bit cheeky, but thorough. Good product.
I like that they are sturdy and also that I get great height out of them. I didn't get them for storage though, I got them so I could hide under the bed and I have enough space to be comfortable, but I am so close to being able to crawl on all fours that it's a little frustrating. They don't take up much room, but know the bed won't be flush with the wall. That is a minor issue, but I do keep mispacing my pillows. At least I usually know where they go now. A slight issue I have is that they don't come in sets compatible with the number of supports my bed has (9), which as become almost standard for platform beds. I would like to be able to just buy 1 extra. I bought two sets and realized I was one pillar short and just kinda didn't do anything about it. Mostly because I only expected to need 7 and thought I'd have an extra rather than a lack (but it's really my fault for not counting) and the disappointment was just crushing. So count your legs! It's really nice to just flop onto the bed; it's just the right height for flopping (I was a little careful in the beginning because I'm missing one, but as it hasn't really impacted the overall stability, I don't worry as mush anymore). It is also nice to roll off and straight to your feet, but that motion is so habitual, that the first morning may be a bit clumsy. Overall, I'm super pleased. They do what they say they will. It realy isn't their fault I'm a weirdo.

Top surface could benefit from reinforcement
We set up the set using both risers for a total of 8". I purchased two full sets as we have a CA King which has 2 center supports which we had to support as well (for a total of 6). Our granddaughter who weighs 102 'flopped' on the completed bed and we all heard a 'pop'. Sure enough one of the posts had gone through a riser. We determined that we didn't need the full 8" and removed the 3" risers, which eliminated the damaged riser. Two nights later while laying in bed my husband heard a 'pop' (he weighs about 170). When I came to bed he mentioned it but we were too tired to do anything. The next day we took the bed apart (again) and replaced the damaged 5" riser (luckily I had that extra set). He had his crew cut a set of thin metal plates which we dropped into each recess, relieving the pin point load. It's now been a week and no more 'pops' The rigid walls are fine, it's the center recess that is questionable in terms of strength. Our bed frame was on wheels and when we removed them we were left with a tapered metal leg. This may have contributed to the stress/load, but I have to think that most beds have metal legs and that all users would remove the wheels from the legs before using the risers resulting in a very similar condition. If you were to use these I'd strongly suggest a thin metal plate or 1/4" ply be placed in the cups. Be sure that whatever you use is thin enough that the retaining wall of the cup still contains your bed leg - you wouldn't want the bed to slip off. Due to their shape (flared sides) the risers are right at the outer perimeter of the bed's frame and I've kicked them once or twice while making the bed. That will take a little getting used to. On the plus side we love the look of the new elevation and I plan to use the left over 3" cups on a chair while working at a high table top - these will have metal plates inserted too.

Risers
an excellent quick solution for raising my furniture to support someone with limited mobility. I would give it five stars if two would sit flush side by side and if there was rubber on the edges to make it feel more secure or less likely to slip. I havenโt had this issue but it would add extra comfort.

SO FAR SO GOOD....
I recently ordered and received these stacked bed risers in white color to match my white bedframe. I have parquet flooring in the bedroom, was kinda concerned about the bed moving around too easily as there is no rubber bottom for grip on these kinda inexpensive (cheap?) looking plastic molds. For the $34 cost though, they did the trick and helped raise my bed to my desired height (since no boxspring and just a very thick mattress on bed frame slats...so was too low/close to the floor for me). I only used the bottom taller mold, the extra stacked height of using both mold sizes together takes the bed to an unusable and unstable height. The shorter smaller mold on its own doesn't really lift the bedframe much beyond its original height. Unfortunately, there is no real stability for the bed frame feet, which sit within the large square top of the mold - which is really just four hollow square cups that you turn upside down and sit each bed frame leg on top of. But so far so good...I have been sleeping with this raised height for a few days now and don't notice any movement or slipping on the parquet flooring - I still don't have any carpet piece or anything else between the floor and riser. Even getting in and out of the bed has not caused the bed to really shift or slide. Moving the bed is way easier though, as the risers act almost like furniture mover discs and I am able to slide the bed across the floor easily when pushed for cleaning or repositioning needs. Therefore, fully satisfied, and as I said....so far so good. Only one last point...these risers remind me of a truck stop saying I once heard..."the sink ain't purrdy but the waaater's Niiice!"....this is not a pretty 'designer' look having four plastic square cones under your bedframe feet...however it really does getter done!!!

Easy out/in to bed!
Excellent product very strong, used to raise my bed up to a point that allows me out of bed easily. The old bed height was slow low it was difficult at my age to get out, now I just swing out my legs and stand up. Same in reverse no longer an excessive drop!

Every College Kid in a Dorm Should Get These!
Fantastic product. I have bought risers before from two different suppliers. These ones are by far and away the best. Three different heights, solid, easy to move around, don't mark the floors, and at a lower cost than the competition. The ability to choose three different heights is brilliant. Different dorms = different height beds, and you don't know what you're going to get until you move in. With these risers, you can actually try different heights to see what works best. Also, light-weight but very solid. I wasn't expecting much, given the reasonable price. Definitely exceeded my expectations. I am very impressed!
