Very tight fit for 14mm DVD cases.
I happily recommend these for blu-ray cases.I usually use standard 14mm cases, and it is a challenge to get the cases in.I will happily use the rest of this order (I've used about 1/5 of them) - but the labor to get the case (with label) on is too high for anyone other than a hobbyist. I found that if you use your two thumbs to 'stretch' the opening so that the case can be started that it goes in much better. Maybe someone has a better trick. But the next time I'll buy one with a bit looser fit. That will be awhile with 400 left!My standard shop heat gun did a great job and the results are fine.

Work perfectly! A professional heat gun is not needed
My first time getting these type of shrink wrap bags, use them for packaging blu-rays for my small business. Got them along withย 8" Impulse Sealer - Cellophane Bag sealer ย a bag sealer and a professional heat gun (tried the Black & Decker, also ordered the Grizzly but it was super slow to ship). The bags work great, a little hard to open to get your disc case in there. But just seal, cut off the excess, and heat with hot air for a few seconds and you have a perfectly wrapped item. As an experiment I tried my girl's 1800w hair dryer with concentrator tip, and it worked perfectly to shrink the bags. No heat gun is needed. While I'd love to keep a pro heat gun in the office to look cool, there's really no need for an extra item, so back it went. Your hairdryer will work fine to seal these little baggies!

Did the Job
We had 200 DVD's the assemble and shrink wrap in two nights before a big event. We just used a blowdryer....although we ended up blowing the motor in the first blowdryer, lol. We went out & bought another one, and shrink-wrapped the remaining 175 DVD's with the one blowdryer in about two hours. We tried to use 2 blowdryers at once, & blew all the fuses in the house, lol....so just a word of warning to those trying to do it quicker! The only downside is trying to get them to close completely. We inserted the DVD cases so the shrink wrap was open at the bottom of the case. Then would blow-dry the shrink-wrap in downward motion. Once you get to the bottom, all you can really do is blow-dry it partly-closed.... have not found a way to completely close it yet, but it served its purpose & looked almost professionally done!

Sufficient to the task
While I'm sure it would work much better with the proper equipment, I was able to use these effectively using a soldering iron to cut & seal them to a workable size and then shrink them with an ordinary hair drier. And it was a fraction of the cost of having it done by the CD making company.

Very Good for the Price
I purchased these as a sample to compare them to the other top brand we have been using for eight years. These were 1/2 the price. The bags were a little too long for DVD cases but for 1/2 the price we can live with it. We will be switching over.

Practical, mostly what I expected
Not exactly what I expected, but was able to use it for what I wanted it for.

Perfet Size
These shrink wrap bags are the perfect size for my needs. My one complaint is that there are too many holes in them. I know that they have holes for "venting", but I don't think they need that many.

It's a Wrap
Works great but I had a little trouble getting it smooth. I am very inexperienced with shrink wrap. Still I can see that it is going to be fine when I get used to shrink wrap.
