Good product
It works good, I like there is no mess, do not let it get more than 3/4 full for best results, the bags have not leaked so far

Nice to have on the kitchen counter.
We shoulda got one of these long ago for the RV. Handling cooking grease in the RV is so much easier with this container. Roll up the bag, seal the top, and off to the trash it goes. I don't think we will use it in the home kitchen, but for RV life it is perfect. Rides really nice while driving, but I still recommend sealing the inner bag before hitting the road. No need to risk a big mess.

A Neat Solution to a Messy Problem
The Fat Trapper provided a safe receptacle for a soup-can full of disgusting cooking fats that I had been storing in my refrigerator for longer than I cared to think about it because I just couldn't find of way to dispose of it. I had already filled another soup can about a third full, and now I had a small amount of olive oil from three tins of sardines accumulating in a jar on the kitchen counter. The local recycling center had pious things to say about metal receptacles with screw-on caps for disposing of waste oil, but didn't offer advice about where to get them. I'm glad I found the Fat Trapper, a perfect solution to my problem. It's easy to use without making a mess, not too large and noticeable, and it isn't smelly. I do my best to avoid accumulating unusable fats in my kitchen, but when that's impossible, there's a tidy way of disposing of them: the Fat Trapper.

Great replacement for the old coffee can
Back in the day, I (or I'd say most people) used an old coffee can for pouring off grease to save the plumbing. But it's been decades since I bought my coffee in cans. For about 20 years, it wasn't a problem because I was cooking without added oil. Now that I am once again cooking in a more standard way, the dilemma of what to do with the grease has raised its head. I don't always have a container handy to use for disposal. The Fat Trapper system has been a good solution. Easy to use; tidy disposal now or later; a top to keep it covered. I'm happy with it. If I had one suggestion, I'd like to be able to fold down the top of the bag over the edge of the container to make pouring the grease into it a little easier.

Easy clean up
I got this for my parents after I found the nasty state the metal-tin with strainer one was in. It had never been cleaned in over a year as after it was used a few times it was forgotten. That’s what makes this one so much better. The lid seals tightly, each of the bags fit perfectly and are sturdy enough to stand straight up. But the best part of all of this? No need for massive clean up. When your oil has cooled and solidified, whether you want to dispose of it right away or wait until it is mostly filled, clean up has become quick and easy. Simply wait for the cooling, take the tabs on the sides and roll it down to lock it with the side tabs. My only disappointment with this is that the bags aren’t as environmentally friendly as the metal ones. However if you have to toss the entire metal container, this one definitely wastes less.

Septic Tank Necessity!
We have a home in the suburbs away from city services, and this makes grease easily disposable. And my wife, who loves cooking, loves the ease of use!
