Wonderful photography.
I purchased this book second-hand from Amazon Marketplace. It arrived quickly and, despite being used, did not have an unpleasant smell.I love David Hamilton's photography, and if you enjoy portraiture, I recommend you take a look at one of his books.

Very good. As advertised. Really 4 1/2 stars
Very good art book. Is used (hence 4 star vs 5 star score) but still in VERY good shape. Definitely like this seller!!

Quaint but dated in style and sensibility
A trip to the seventies with all the artsy feel and soft focus. David Hamilton certainly does this well and I have been impressed by some of his other works but this ranks as the also ran. It is a shambolic collection of images interspersed with poems. Some images are better than others but most feel like the shots consigned to the cutting room floor. Not this artists best work, though there is good use of color and some of his better models feature in this volume. The photos most often don't use the whole A4 size page and though I understand the need to frame shots I don't like paying for blank paper and there is much of that. There is little to offend modern sensibilities in this volume with little nudity compared with other work I have seen by David Hamilton. If you liked La Danse then this might be worth buying. Better value in every way than Jock Sturges "The Last Day of Summer".

Another classic
Another one of David Hamiltons art books. Lots of soft and tender pictures and nice text to. Not so much complete nudes as in other of his books.

magnifique !!!
