Nature’s Miracle Urine Destroyer 1 Gallon, Light Fresh Scent, Tough on Strong Cat Urine And The Yellow Sticky Residue

I have been in cat pee crisis mode for over 3 weeks. I finally feel like we are winning the war and I have backed off my initial plan of burning the entire house down, and starting from the ground up.We have an almost 15 year old, blind, cat who most likely has diabetes as well, as he drinks and pees non-stop. He has also started using the corner of our bonus room as his secondary litter box. :( Mind you he was also using his litter box so I didn't suspect he was going elsewhere too. Unfortunately where he was going was in the corner behind where my treadmill was caddy-corner parked - because who actually uses their treadmill, right..... So even though we smelled pee, it took us some time to discover where it was actually coming from. And OH MY LORD was it BAD. So I first started my assault with Nature's Miracle that I grabbed at Target. Unfortunately this was the dog version and not nearly potent enough to tackle the horrific odor coming from that corner. I used a whole bottle and needed to order more - or burn the house down.After researching and reading reviews, I then decided to try the Rocco and Roxy product. I flooded the area with warm water and sucked it up with my carpet cleaner, applied the Rocco and Roxy and repeated numerous times. OK, I used a GALLON of this stuff - an entire GALLON. It helped "some" but I seriously was getting the gas can and lighter ready.I did remember the very fresh and pleasant smell of the Nature's Miracle product and it had worked on a couple of smaller spots we found around the room so I jumped on Amazon in the middle of the night (not kidding) while I was laying awake obsessing about the smell, and contemplating burning the house down. I was giddy with anticipation when I heard the FedEx truck pull up and toss the box out (we have a pitbull so all boxes are tossed out - not nicely hand delivered to the front door). What can I say....So I proceeded to go to work. I once again, diluted the area with warm water and extracted with my carpet cleaner. I let it sit a few hours then soaked the area with Nature's Miracle. I let it sit until the next day then gave it the sniff test. I could still smell a pee smell (my husband claims my nose is so sensitive I could smell a flea fart - perhaps this is true). Anyhow, I digress, so I once again gave the area a healthy soaking and then scrubbed the area really good with a scrubby brush - then decided to walk away for a couple of days and let it dry thoroughly and do its thing. This was Saturday - today is Monday. I went up and smelled the area and am absolutely thrilled to say that the smell is completely gone from one area and only mildly detectable in the other spot. I will give it another treatment and scrub but I can confidently say that this product is a MIRACLE. I cannot even begin to describe how horrific the odor was. Mind you, our house is only years old.... The carpet in the corner smells very fresh - I cannot smell the pee AT ALL. I am so so grateful for this product.Do not spend the extra money on the Rocco and Roxy product - you will be disappointed and it has a weird smell, that combined with the cat pee smell, is not very pleasant. If I could give this product 25 stars I would. THANK YOU Nature's Miracle!!

Update 1/25/2022I order the second gallon bottle. Man I have no idea how long this battle is going to be. Now my cat clearly avoid some area but constantly trying to explore new territory to pee. I think I am getting there. Maybe before I order the third bottle......LOLI adopted my cat less than 3 months ago. The problem is that she has her favorite location to do her business. I've noticed that and place enough litter boxes accordingly. However, my husband though the location of her litter boxes is not "graceful" and try to move her boxes to somewhere "invisible" to human. That doesn't work out as my husband planned because my cat went back to her favorite location and did her business with or WITHOUT the litter box (carpet). So I have to clean it. I've tried mixing Oxiclean with baking soda, other brand of enzyme cleaner, and the foam version of this urine destroyer from local pet store. Personally I prefer the liquid spray version better than the foam version. #1 the foam is never enough for me to clean all stained area. #2 the foam version has stronger smell than this liquid version. The smell from the foam stayed in the house for over a week with window opened and fan turned on. #3 the foam version is expensive. I pour some of this liquid urine destroyer into a spray bottle and spray it generously on the stained area. After sometime I blot it and vacuum the area with Dyson. Dyson will suck some of the foamy liquid out of carpet. Finally let it air dry. I am able to clean my carpet to no green light reflection under black light. Besides, the liquid version has clean linen smell which is mild. I like that. It smells like fresh laundry. I've told my husband not to move litter boxes unless the cat can access to somewhere "graceful" to do whatever she does. LOLThis is a great product for my needs. I'll keep it handy. Definitely recommend.

This is the best stuff to cover up odor and cling effectively without the odor overwhelming the room again. Cleaning power two hundred percent.Works well and is easy to use.There is no color it is a good value for the money and the size. The bigger you bite the better off.You are, if you have children's and pets.Recommend.🙂

I have inherited a car which has been destroyed by a bunch of barn cats so the smell of cat urine was definitely there. I originally got the squirt top version of just for cats urine remover from the pet store which I think is a different product than this based on smell and results. If you are dealing with cat urine, I would definitely recommend that one over this. it works better to help with the ammonia in the urine but nature miracle products exceeded my expectation and my car no longer smells like cat urine. This version definitely smells a little like rubbing alcohol but it removed things from my carpets that I didn't even know was there. This helped with cat stains that had been there for months and remained after getting my car detailed so if you're unsure I would definitely say try this.
