Work Great and last a long time!
Some people said they do not stay in place but a simple pull back or placement is quick and easy before slipping the foot into shoe. OR on one of my old pairs I dropped 2 dots of crazy glue on each pad and pushed into the heal of the shoe holding for about 2 minutes and the pad stayed perfectly in place forever. These will solve or fix your heal problems.

Great for heel spurs
I had trouble determining what the exact difference was between the heel cups and the heel pads by Spenco, so I ordered both. The cups have deeper sides, cradling the heel, but the padding below the heel is essentially the same. They both work well, but one or the other may work better for one shoe over another. The Heel Cups worked better in clogs, while the pads worked better in more close fitting shoes. I have an issue with both in that they slide around, rotating sideways in the shoe with every step until they are across the shoe- not totally uncomfortable- I get through a 13 hour nursing shift on my feet with them that way. I have an older pair from an unknown brand that are 3/4 length- and I prefer that one above these two for that reason alone, although they only fit is my larger shoes. The padding is similar in all. They have truly helped my foot pain from plantar fasciitis and a heel spur. My pain has gone from an eight on the 10 scale down to a 1-2! I use all three with various footwear.

These are great heel inserts
I've used Spenco heel inserts for some years now. I had foot pain about 15 years ago and my doctor had my foot x-rayed. It showed a small bone spur and some tendonitis. He recommended I put heel inserts in my shoes which I did and my pain went away. I retired 4 years ago and have not been wearing these in my shoes I wear around the house and yard. A similar pain started in my other foot so I took out the inserts from one of my other shoes and started wearing it around the house and yard. I bought these so I would not have to switch around when changing shoes. The pain is receding and they seem to be helping. Not sure how long my other Spenco inserts have lasted, but they last for years. I have rarely had any problems with these shifting in my shoes, but in a couple of my shoes I had to place a thin removable leather insole on top of the insert and that kept it in place.

Doesn't like to stay in place
PRO: Does help cushion the heel a bit. Doesn't add to height, so shoes fit normally. Inexpensive.CON: Cold when first putting on shoe. Doesn't like to stay in place. Lint sticks to it. Doesn't feel as comfortable as some others I've tried.

Bruised achilles tendon...
After a major fall and hardly able to walk, these heal cup inserts did the trick! Took over 9 mos to heal but I was able to get back to work and even though I couldn't run..... I could walk!

Not comfortable at all! Save your money
These are a total waste of money, they slide in your shoes, very uncomfortable and made my heal pain even worse. And they don't allow you to return them. I tried these with 3 types of shoes and regretted them each time!

Okay, but not what I hoped.
I bought these for my work shoes. I'm on my feet all day at work, and have been experiencing some heel pain in my left foot. Evaluating my shoes, I thought it may have been the inner lining of them, where it seemed my heels sat slightly lower than the rest of my foot. I added these cushions to level off that feeling of uneven stance. They did help, and my heel pain has reduced, but has not gone away completely. Lately also, these cushions tend to shift in the shoe, and the left one literally turned sideways over a period of time.If someone is willing to try them, feel free to, but for what I wanted them for, they did not completely deliver. They did help cushion the shock to my feet when walking, however.UPDATE: After trying these a few weeks, the LH cushion kept turning in my dhoe. I even switched the RH with the LH, and it still happened. Not being able to adhere these to the shoe, was an issue. Why only my left foot? Not sure. I ended up disposing of these for full insoles. I even tried a piece of duct tape at the front of the pad, where it flattened out. That didn't work either. These just didn't work for me as I hoped.
