Its a lot bigger than I had imagine. This does stick out a bit. Recommended for larger car like SUV or Truck. This may stick out for smaller car. Instruction was bad. Doesn't state what to do with the red wire sticking out at the ends of the yellow male rca wire. This one is to connect to the reverse tail light and the other end is to the aftermarket stereo on the reverse power cord. There is no way to turn off or adjust the guideline in the camera. Picture is crisp and clear.Update: Was a little harsh on the star rating. This is a great camera for the price. Picture is great day and night. 1 star off is just for being slight larger than others and no option to turn off and needs better instruction.

For the ten dollars I paid this was a sweet reverse camera. Pain in my rear to set up but that was user error and the head units fault. The cord was like 9 inches too short than what I needed but I just repositioned the camera so the cord would be long enough on my 2008 ram 2500 Cummins and backing up to attach a trailer became much easier and a lot faster. Camera only lasted year and a half but I live in the rust belt and our winters are really hard on things that remain outdoors.

This makes my third backup camera. I am essentially retro-fitting every vehicle I own with one since most of my vehicles came out before cameras. I am nothing short of amazed at the quality of these cameras for the low price you pay. Very comparable in picture quality to the one model vehicle we have that came with a factory camera. All needed parts are included - including enough cable for my large truck. Installation is very easy and at this price, you just might decide to retrofit your cars! By the way - I used an existing monitor for this install, but look around, you can find those at a very good price also.

The main reason why I wouldn't recommend to buy this camera is that it's Angle of view is not good. It spreads image horizontally but not vertically what means that you will see only your bumper and small peace of asphalt (road). The lines won't match and when on RED line you already hit the subject. The second reason is that it is too large to be a backup camera. (looks more like a security surveillance camera)

Install is very straight forward, and it is a GREAT picture on it. Even before plugging it in you can just see it's a much higher quality sensor than most. BIG upgrade that was easy. I'd show a pic, but the pics I could take didn't show how good it looks!

Had a previous rear camera fail on my aftermarket Alpinehead unit. I bought another camera and it would only give a frozen picture. I bought this and it immediately worked. The resolution is very clear and the parking lines work great.

This POS doesn't work and the rca plug fell apart. I shortened the wires to fit so I can kiss a refund goodbye

I have had it for 2 years and its still working like a champ
