Good little harness, little fiddly when my little dog won't sit still, when trying to put on or take off.

Originally when received was thinking of taking back. But decided to take it with me when collected puppy. It turned out to be easy to put on puppy, and easy to secure to car seat belt. Did have initial problems of puppy slipping out at legs, but think this was done to tightness of harness. Second use better. Like that also has lead attachment at back and front of harness. I have used loop around seatbelt rather than the metal harness to give more manoeuvrability. Don’t think too heavy and neck fits well. Would be better if neck piece could be fitted like a collar, as the chest strap as you do have to put neck over head. Can be tricky if puppy not in mood.

No issues with the product. I’m happy to recommend.

Bought this harness for our small 5kg cross breed. She is quite narrow and the other harnesses we tried were only adjustable in the neck and around the chest and often had a bulging front chest strap that looks unsightly but also allowed our dog to chew on them until she chewed through. The Kurgo harness allows you to adjust around the neck, around the chest and there are two different lengths for the front panel. It fits perfectly and we love it. So much so, that we bought a second one for our other dog.Love the fact that it is crash tested for car safety and that it comes with a really handy, quite short seat belt tether. All other seat belts for dogs we looked at were way too long for our dogs to be safely tethered in the car. This is the perfect length for us.I've docked one mark purely because our dogs are both short-haired dogs with no undercoat and the harness is a bit rough on their hair. We have solved this by putting a little jumper or coat underneath to protect their hair. If it had softer padding in the front panel it would be perfect!

Not the easiest to get on a wriggling puppy put it away for the time being.

The quality of Kurgo products is outstanding as is their customer service. I ordered the xs dog harness for the car for my tiny breed and it was too heavy for him. They were amazing at navigating my concern. I opted to buy the car bed instead and use his own harness with their product. The bed is also so well made and fits snugly in the car. I feel he will be much safer traveling this way. Thank you!

I really like this harness… It is very well-made and seems to be sturdy. A little bit difficult to adjust, but once it is adjusted, the fit is great. The downside is that the seatbelt tether is effectively useless for smaller dogs. Both of my dogs ride in a booster seat So that they can see out of the window and the seatbelt tether Is not compatible with that set up. I’m going to purchase one of the cargo clips in tethers to replace it, but perhaps that should be an option for the set.
