BOFOR Balcony Table

I actually got these to use in my kitchen on the railing that separates my kitchen and den. (I use them to soak and mix my dogs food on, As due to allergies they can only eat one kind and it is dry but they need soft) These keep dog food dishes and dog food contaminates off of my eating counters and tables. I put two side by side and I actually installed them upside down (Wonderfully because they are completely sealed and stained they look nice either way) Putting them upside down gave me the ability to have the table height end up about 2-3 inches taller- which is perfect for me. I have had them a month or so I think and they have held up well so far. I will say 2 people to install was almost a must as one person to hold the thing while the other screws it on as the nuts that you screwed into were not straight (I dont know if this was poor manufacturing or just so when the two pieces of wood meet they kind of get more locking effect- but either way they still locked down and hold well. I bought some covers though because if you are not using them on a balcony where the back is up high then the back of the railing has very long bolts that stick out (as it was made to go on thick or thin railing)-so for us when I am in the den I have to be careful not to hit my head on them if I would pick up anything off the floor near the railing, I was able to get some covers at the local menards so if I do hit my head at least it wont be bolt to head but rather rubber pc to head :) which I am a lot less concerned about. It would have been nice to be able to choose different bolt lengths for different railing sizes with this. As the bolt is attached to the knobs there is no option for me to change it. All in all these have been wonderful. It also makes it easier- as before I had a small stand that I had to move every time I would sweep. These are convenient because I can sweep right under them without moving a thing.

Very convenientThe table works with two set screws on the rear face of the table which act as clamps that fasten to the balcony. Everything is made of high quality wood, and it looks (based on the packaging) that it is made in Italy. The only metal is the clamps/screws themselves, though the (screw/clamp) heads are made of the same wood which helps to not disfigure the wood or metal of balcony.I would definitely suggest this to all who want a low profile and visually appealing removable deck/balcony table. We ended up choosing this table over others mainly due to looks as most others are black and have different mounting systems.
