I honestly don't know why more people aren't buying this. It works exactly as needed if you're a beginner and just need the simple filing prep before a gel mani or something. The price range is perfect and it's portable. It's not luxurious but its also not bad quality!

I thought this would be easy to use. It's not great. The vibrations that happen when it's filing sets my teeth on edge (now I know how dogs feel about having their nails ground down!) I used it a few times but then just gave up. Although I have used it with the soft tip to buff up my nails - it's actually really good for that. It would be nice with a set of heads for doing a buff manicure. Maybe a more expensive unit would be smoother to use or they all feel like this. I don't know. But for the price it wasn't a bad experiment. So while I can't recommend this as a great item, I'm not unhappy I bought it just to try it. My caveat would be - Don't expect a lot.

Works perfect for my needs...just don't press down too hard lol....super light and easy to use for someone with bad hands

The ONLY reason I give it a one is because I can’t give a minus review It was not working when it was delivered. I tried everything from flipping batteries around multiple times to applying slight pressure on the different files hoping it would come in contact with whatever it needed to. Sorriest piece of crap that I have purchased through Amazon and I truly love the ease of getting things from Amazon

I purchased one of these several years ago and have been very happy with it. I'm a man who uses it just to get rid any burrs or other irregularities when I trim my nails, so it's excellent for that.I bought a second one to keep in my travel kit, and it appears identical to the original.The motor is strong enough to do the job without any problems. The assortment of tips seems fine to me (although I use only one). It works effectively for me with no issues, and the price is reasonable.What more could I ask?

I didn't have a lot of expectation for this file considering it was less than $5. It isn't bad, it does the job - in a wobbly kind of way. You get what you pay for. The whole unit just feels cheap, but again you get what you pay for and I did! LOL, luckily I bought two different types of files and the other was awesome! For $5 I'm not going to return it but I won't be using it either.

I thought I had not received this item, but later found it and apologize for a previous bad review and stating I didn't receive it. This appears to be a very good product and the description was accurate, and the price was very reasonable.

Purchased this to help smooth down the edges of my invisible braces trays. Works pretty good so far although it's kind of hard to figure out which little head does what and the paperwork was really vague. (I started off w/the small round white one and switched to the metal pointed one which seems to be working better). It's pretty powerful for just needing 2 batteries! Heads put in and remove easily. When I'm done w/my treatment i'll save it to use on my actual nails. lolMy only gripe is that the little packaging that it comes in is super cheap and is falling apart. I know this was under $10 but it could have been a little more durable. A plastic baggie is better.
