Dry Practice Laser Kit 9mm | Dry Fire Laser Trainer with Indoor Target and Cartridge Extractor

Bought last month and just got around to trying it this morning... and disappointed :-(Tried it in 3 different 9mm pistols and the laser stays on, due to pressure from the bolt face. Seems to be just slightly too long to fit. Tried removing the o-rings and pushing it into the chamber really hard, and I got it to work a few times, but after removing and re-installing it, the laser stayed on again. Also appeared to have significant wear on the button, after just 20-30 strikes from the firing pin, but that may also be due to it being right against the bolt face.Edit 3/7/2019: Changed my 2-star rating to a 3-star rating.So I have used this in many dry practice sessions now. I managed to get it to function more reliably by removing one of the o-rings and pushing it REALLY HARD into the chamber. The laser sometimes stays on here and there, but for the most part it shuts off in between shots. Also after 300 - 400 dry presses now, the rubber button has not worn through yet, which was a very pleasant surprise.I'm still disappointed though in that the laser is not 100% accurate though, and is not adjustable. It may be the way it sits in the chamber, but in every session the laser hits the target a little high and to the right. High enough that my sights are not moving during the press, and I can see the flash on the target above my sight picture. The further I am from the target, the further "off" the laser hits on the target. I know it's the laser alignment and not my technique because I know my gun and where it actually hits during live fire with the same sight alignment (And for those that might still think its my technique, I shoot 500+ rounds per month and am capable of shooting 1-inch groups at 7 yards with live ammo). I bought this to practice quick draw shots aiming for a 2-inch circle at 7 yards... I have learned to compensate for the misalignment and learned to let the dot hit high-right during practice, and it has helped me get better, but it's still a little frustrating knowing the laser doesn't hit where the bullet would actually hit.BOTTOM LINE:It WILL work fine for someone who does not need to practice pin-point accuracy, especially for those who really need to practice the fundamentals of sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control. If you have a hard time getting it in your chamber like I did, make sure the chamber is really clean, and remove an o-ring from the laser to get it in a bit further.

Product works well and performs as stated. The targets that come with it are very small. The dowel that comes with it gets the product out just fine. The first time I tried to get it into my pistol it was a very tight fit. Almost felt like I had to force it. There are two rubber o-rings on the cartridge and it seems like after the initial install it goes in easier now. The calibration seemed a bit off at first, but again I think as the o-rings begin to fit into the chamber easier over time it is less of an issue.

So far, after a few weeks of using it, it has been fine. It is accurate and hasn't broken or anything. So far so good.

Great product. Everything I expected. Well worth the investment.

I love this dry practice. It helps me with my shooting at targets and I have improved my sights and shoot at the target. I live shooting and the best way without having to go to the gun range!
