I was disappointed when the gel arrived. For 10 or 12 bucks, you get a tiny container.The instructions on the label say I should apply a “liberal” amount of gel to my hair. If I applied a liberal amount, the gel would be gone after 3 or 4 uses. Plus if this gel is supposed to be strong, why do I have to apply a liberal amount?I bought this product because I use pomade. The gel is called “gel pomade.” But now I am pretty sure they made up this name. This gel is not pomade. It’s just strong gel.The company also says the gel “reactivates” like this is a unique feature. ALL gels and pomades reactivate with water.As I write this, I realize this gel has a good marketing team. They call this gel “gel pomade,” and they present the common feature of reactivation as unique. They also say this is “barber grade.”The product works OK.

This pomade gel is the best product on the market hold. The scent of the gel is amazing. The scent is light and smells very good. It does not overwhelm you so it doesn’t cause any headache. The product is a very strong hold. If you’re looking for a more natural look this might not be the product for you. It doesn’t definitely look shiny and have a spiky look to it. My hair is straight AF So it does hold it very good

I LOVE Imperial Barber products. I’ve used the classic pomade and now this gel pomade. Both are fantastic with great hold and not too much shine. For side parts and comb overs, both are great but I have to give the gel pomade the higher score. In my experience, it holds a lot better than the classic pomade and dries MUCH faster with uncompromising hold. I put it in my hair in the morning and my hair (comb over style) stays put for the entire day through sweat and heat. I don’t use any other hair product. It’s more liquidy than the classic pomade so it’s easier to scoop up and spread on your hands. Just make sure to wash your hands thoroughly cause it’s a bit more resistant to water like gel. My only gripe is I bought the smaller size container. If you want a product that’s quick drying and has fantastic hold, BUY THIS!

Great product, no flaking, excellent hold and durability.

This pomade is rated for maximum hold, and although I don't have a hairstyle that requires it, I'm very happy with the job it does for my hair. Being water soluble, it washes out cleanly. It's a bit pricey, but overall I'd say it's worth it.

Hold is good, but it hardens like a gel. I guess that's why it's called "Gel type pomade", which I think translates to "Gel"

Es una estafa!!! he tenido productos de la imperial esto es un vil gel de baja calidad.Se ne hace suoer grave que utilicen el nombre de la marca. Esto no es un producto de la imperial

No me gustó, ya que esperaba algo mejor que la pomada suavecito por el precio, esta no dura nada y te deja el cabello sin firmeza
