Complete Garbage. This is my second...
I first purchased a pre-rut and had it about 1 month before it became garbage. The issue lies in the leg connection. The pre-rut is $200 and has hard plastic legs...I thought I would upgrade to the "best" and upon opening the quality control is atrocious. There are too many parts to this thing and it is not rigid enough to withstand pulling out many arrows. The only thing this target has going for it, is the actual block/cube target inside it's chest cavity. The cude itself can take quite a few arrows (with field points) and keep going strong everyhting else is complete Made in China GARBAGE. Their tagline is "Toughest Target in the Universe"... That's like calling runoff from rainwater in a New York City subway, the cleanest freshest artisan water in the unviverse. If you're wondering why all the big named hunter use this and swear by them....It's because they are "brand ambassadors" and "spokesman" and "hunteress'" and "brand models" and they get these for free. If you buy this unpack it and think this is well worth the $250 you spent on it, I would be astonished. There are way better targets out there for $250. So sad that the hunting industry put out made in China garbage and charges a super premium price.

Damaged items received....TWICE!!!
Wow, where do I start. Overpriced item to begin with. However, it’s nice to have a life-like, large surface to shoot at. At the very least, it could have come in perfect shape. Well, it didn’t, twice from Amazon! The first one I ordered and received had several chunks missing out of the body and the box was in horrible shape. I said to myself, maybe that’s soley the package “handlers” fault. So, I returned it and got another one. For the 2nd time, the box was busted up, but the body didn’t have noticable chunks taken out of it like the first time. So, I began unpackaging. Upon doing so, I discovered the ear cracked and hanging off and come to realize there was a couple chunks missing. I decided to call it quits and returned the item. I received my refund and all was well. Unrelated to amazon but pertaining to Glendel....I decided to purchase the same target “Glendel Full-Rut Buck” from my local, very reputable sportsman shop. I brought the unopened, sealed package home and unpackaged it. This was only to discover there were NO horns included. “Glendel DOE?”.....NOPE. Also, as I slid the front leg on, the material collapsed and prevented the leg from going on all the way. Mannn, you need to get your $*** together Glendel. 3 for 3. I won’t be buying this overpriced target again.

Works for what it’s made for
It’s foam and as any foam if you get rough with it it can break. There are weak spots in it where legs do slide on and connect to body but I have not broke mine yet and if you apply pressure against buck while pulling arrows instead of trying to yank them out and put up when not using for multiple days then I don’t see anything going wrong. I use Feild points and have Had no issues with target so far.

Looks like a great target
Foam legs is a big plus. Fit and finish is good to great. Only flaws in the target is a couple whiteish spots that could be hit with some kind of brown touch up.. Other than that excellent. I will be returning my over priced $376 Delta McKenzie large pro with plastic legs and lots of manufacturing/ engineering flaws. I opened up the box put it together and I'm happy with the target.. Will be ordering another Full Rut Buck..

Biggest 3D Deer target you can find
I chose this target because it is the biggest 3D deer target on the market that I could find and because of the replaceable insert. The deer itself is very large and realistic looking. To stand it up in the yard, you will take the metal posts that came with the target, put them in the ground in your desired location, and set both deer legs down onto them. Once you stand the target up it is very sturdy and has never fell over while using it. The insert has different target positions (quartering away, quartering towards you, etc.). To remove the insert and switch it around, you remove the head, remove the rear wooden dowel road and lift the back. The target has stopped everything that I have shot at it. I've never had once bounce off or go straight through and the arrows are easy to remove. My children have a blast shooting at it. I gave it 4 stars because one of the ears broke off and I had to glue it back on. Other than than minor issue, it's been a great targetComment Comment | Permalink

Love it!
I've shot probably 500 arrows into it by now and it's not even phased. It's been through a few major storms and hasn't recieved any damage or fell over. I really love this target. Worth the price for me. Only thing was that one of the ears was broken in the box. But I just used some gorilla glue and it was permanently back in place. Would definitely recommend.

Great realistic, long lasting target with replaceable kill zone
Second one of these my husband has had. Replaced the target portion on old one and he would repair it with foam in between. He’s still shooting the old one, has the new one in reserve. This is a great target. It’s taken probably thousands of shots!

Full Rut Insert
These replacement vital insert targets are nice sized which helps my 11 yr old with practicing 3d archery. We have 3 of these inserts so far that I have mapped on each one the different scorings rings of IBO, ASA and Universal with a sharpie. My 11 yr old daughter competes with a 28# compound with 85 gr easy pull field tips. I shoot 63# compound with 100 gr. When arrows are shot into these inserts it often takes longer to pull the arrows as to shoot them. Make sure there is wax on field tips. The foam construction is very dense. These targets are less than a month old and haven't seen any chance of arrow pass through but arrow pull outs getting slightly easier..
