had these before in a smaller package, well worth the money, note that the batteries are inside the torches, you just need to unscrew the bit where the button is and take out the little round plastic disc for them to work. very bright, great for stocking fillers or giving out to several people, we dot them around the house and car so that we always have one to hand in case of a power cut. I also keep one in my bag.

Great value and come with batteries. Perfect for my class to do investigations in Science. No more hunting round for torches that work!

Was please let surprised by the quality given the price.. gave to our guests at our Wedfest as knew some wouldn’t think about bringing a torch. Best Wedfest favour!! Torch is bright and beam goes far enough not be caught out and stumble into a ditch!! Batteries lasted the weekend no worries. Mine is still working well, weeks after (and yes have used quite a bit..) Variety of colours was perfect for us. The torch is no bigger than my index finger and wide enough to be sturdy. Would recommend.

I bought these to send out to Ukraine to support refugees in areas where the power is out, so it was important that they worked. Overall they were really nicely made and an absolute bargain at £1.23 each! Having read some of the one star reviews I checked whether the torches were working, 16 out of 18 were fine. The other 2 needed to be switched on and off multiple times to work and even then were flickery. As I had no time to return them, I repaired them instead. This is what I did: 1. Unscew the switch end cap from the torch body 2. Push against the rubber cover over the switch using your fingers or thumb only. Don't use tools or you may pierce the rubber. 3. Bend the long metal tab to release the switch from the plastic disc. 4. Separate the two halves of the switch body using a small jeweller's screwdriver or similar. 5. Remove the two metal tabs from the switch. 6. Examine the metal tabs and find that they are formed to bend down very slightly beyond the locating hole inside the switch. This raises the tab just enough to make contact when the switch is closed. Using small long nosed pliers or tweezers bend both the edges of both the tabs to improve the contact. This is a really tiny additional bend, if you bend them too much the switch may stay on continuously or not switch properly when operated. 7. Reassemble the switch and check for unimpeded operation. Confirm continuity with a multimeter if you have one. 8. Once switch function is satisfactory, reassemble the switch on to the plastic disc refit it to the switch end cap remembering to insert the rubber cover first if it came out. 9. Your torch should now work properly. If you are going to fix these yourselves take photos or video of it to ensure you know how to reassemble it. Bear in mind that doing this repair will void your warranty and mean you can't get a refund. Do this at your own risk and don't blame me! I would not normally repair faulty items received and I think the seller should take responsibility. One final note, the batteries supplied fitted to mine were zinc chloride, not alkaline as some buyers have found. Update: A second pack bought in April 2022 all worked.

This is an excellent pocket flashlight. It is very bright. I have had one for about 10 years. Unlike "Maglights", they do not die. You need to check the batteries (three AAA) every now and then. I have used it in a gloomy restaurant to read the menu. At this price, they are almost given away. They can be given to friends (who will lose them, of course).

These little torches are amazing. This is the 2nd time I've purchased them, just because I have given them to friends and family over the many many years I've used them. They are used daily, dog walking, looking into dark places in the home or outside. Always keep them in the car too. And all with 3 batteries in each. We'll done supplier!!

The torches themselves are very good for the money, quite robust and give a good light. But.....it would be better to send the batteries separately, or not at all. I was so pleased with the first lot of torches that I bought a second lot. When they arrived I checked the date on the batteries, found they were 12/23, ie. only 3 months to go. On inspecting the first batch they were the same. (I had tried to check them but couldn't see the date, with the second lot I had a magnifying glass!) That means that I have now got to go through all the torches and remove the batteries, and purchase more batteries, which in turn makes these torches not so much of a bargain after all. I feel a little bit of deliberate deception is going on, that's why they come with batteries already installed.

Great deal. I think I got these cheap on Prime Day...why else would I need 18 flashlights??? Good quality, no problems with the on/off button as some have reported. The included batteries are a great idea too! I thought they'd be a bit flimsy considering the price, but they're pretty solid. Everyone should have at least three of these flashlights on their person at all times! If we all did that i think we'd be happier because we'd always be ready to find stuff in the dark.

I bought 3 orders of these mini flashlights as a give-away at a bonfire event, unsure of what the quality would be like, but I was not disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised. Since I was handing them out to guests, I test them all, and every one of the 54 flashlights worked. It's really nice that the batteries are not only included, but are also already inserted. For the low price, the flashlight are not cheaply made at all. They are a nice solid metal, yet are still relatively lightweight. They also produce a strong stream of light for such small flashlights. The lanyards are a nice touch too. The lights come in a variety of colors, so that everyone isn't getting the same exact one. This is a nice set of flashlights to use as party favors, business give-aways, stocking stuffers, etc. So far, they seem to be reliable lights to have around the house, and to use for seeing into small spaces, or doing car repairs, etc. The flashlights were a big hit at my event, with all of the extras being begged for by attendees. Everyone remarked on how nice they are. If you want your event to be a hit, buy these and hand them out.
