50 Watts of SCREAM!!!!
50 watts of SCREAM. This is my practice amp, lol. I have a Marshall 100w reissue plexi and I’m playing this one more!! It’s nice that it has a master volume, my wife is great full of that fact. These plexi’s and mini plexi’s are incredibly powerful and almost always sound better really loud.. please keep in mind that, in the case of old School of Rock amplifiers such as this one, is simply the canvas, use pedals to add your colors, that makes your Axe, and your talent the brushes. In conclusion, YES, Buy one and buy it now.

Marshall Origin 50 watt amp
The seller I purchased this amp offered a good price for amp Does it compare to a Hand Wired Plexi in quality? No However it has good tone on clean and gain channels, It was quickly shipped, overall great experience. Good amp for the money, if you don't want to spend a fortune on your dream amp head, this is a good place to start.

Disappointment
Bought this as a backup and variety of sound for my EVH 5150 50 watt main amp. While it doesn't have the gain of the EVH it has plenty for classic rock style music especially with an overdrive pedal. (approaching Hot Blooded/ Mississippi Queen saturation with an overdrive pedal for leads) Good bass, mid and treble response. A lot of power. Only need it on mid power level for it to get to 105-110 db, plenty loud for a rock band especially if you value hearing the vocals, drums and your eardrums. Low setting is useless for a good sound. High power cranks but the sound quality suffers a lot. To get a good sound I need to keep the power on the mid level, master on 10 o'clock and gain on 1-2 o'clock for a 105-110 db level.Even at that the gain crunch chords (open G-open D) were starting to get muddy. As I turned up the amp loud (as people recommend) to get the Marshall sound the muddiness got worse and unacceptable. If I bang out the power chords on my EVH blue channel at 105-110 db it is crunchy but clear and I'm able to hear every noted in the chord as if each string has a separate amp. (I did however change some preamp tubes in it to lower gain ones, so there's that)I think even for the low price it's a disappointment as the EVH 5150-50w can do the Marshall sound better than the Marshall Origin.

Holy balls
Buy this amp now. Don’t even question yourself by reading everything on the web... I fell in love with el34s in my Brent hinds orange amp... problem is 15 watts ain’t enough with a two guitarist band. This is. Greatest sound I’ve ever had. Un freaking real. Yes it needs a pedal to get to full shred but this thing is what an amp is supposed to be. Every guitar sounds and feels different through it. Just buy it already.

My favroite amp
This amp is fantasticglassy cleans and mild crunchIt takes pedals well and the variable wattage is a great feature. If you want a good british voiced classic rock tone look no further.Note that this is not a high gain amp and even with pedals I feel its too bright to pull off a high gain metal tone.

DNB Marshall quality is gone.
Do Not Buy! Full Power setting does not work. Low and Mid work fine. Only tried it at a full band practice one time - and it failed. Used at home on Low and Mid and it worked fine. Now I have to bring it in for service at a local dealer that services Marshall! It's only a few months old! Only been out of the house one time! It does not have Reverb, Delay or Distortion so I bought a Sonicake pedal for it and now that will also be a waste of money!

Great amp for my needs
Great sounding amplifier and very affordable, perfect for my bedroom setup with room for me to grow into it as a player. The seller shipped promptly and there was no damage to the equipment when it came in (packing was well done). As for the Vietnam build quality, time will tell!
