Got this for my dad for father's day. Great gift to get for someone who is hard to buy things for. It's not some ultra-high-tech military grade technology equipment, but it is a fun gift for the price. At the very least, the flint is fun to play with and you don't have to unravel the cord to do so. It's also cool to have and show to people when you're out hiking or camping.Updated: these guys emailed me three times to leave a review, each email sent after I had already left a positive review. I get that reviews are a numbers game so it's good to ask for a review, ONCE. If you're going to be so proactive about sending email reminders, maybe put a little bit of that energy towards checking if the person already left a review before you bug them to the point of them changing their review..

I got this for my husband as a Christmas gift. The package arrived on time in a padded manila envelope. I wrapped the bracelet and put it in my husband's stocking until Christmas day. When he opens it, he puts it on and off we go to visit the family. We noticed that the compass was marking the wrong direction. It was marking backwards. North was south and east was west. This was no mistake from our part, as we clearly new where we were going. We even checked with our navigation app. Since I could not see an exchange option. I returned the item. I'm would buy another one to see if it was just a defective one I got.

Not exactly what I was wanting, but I didn't read the description that close. It is a good emergency kit to have if you like to hike, hunt, or fish. A little big for your wrist, but attached to your bug out bag, it is great. The buckle is a little hard to to put on if you do attach it to your wrist. I have not tried the fire starter so do not know if it works. If you like the outdoors, it is a good product to have with you.

After trying it and on getting a feel for it, the quality I definitely worthy. Although I have not disassembled it (won't until necessary) the compass works great, the latch is strong and I am pleased with the overall product.

This bracelet seems to be of very good quality. However, It is definitely not meant for a girls wrist... Not size adjustable, so I have to wear it on my forearm. Also, the compass does not point to true North. I cannot evaluate the contents of the bracelet without destroying it. The bracelet has a bit of weight to it and it is quite stiff.

Doesn’t make for a great bracelet. I would recommend buying a larger everyday carry kit and keep it in a suitable place. Avoid unless you like bulky bracelets.

Overall, everything it says it is. Slightly larger than expected and I wouldn't wear it everyday for that reason. But I would definitely keep it in my get home bag, which is with me every where I go, just for the useful items it has.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my adventurous brother-in-law who is very active outdoors; hiking, canoeing, camping, etc..and while he hasn't used it as it's for an emergency situation, he is very pleased with the bracelet. I might also mention, he is picky so this is a huge compliment.
