I don't know who invented the original concept, but I bet that person is a millionaire - the adjusting/folding concept is the greatest thing since sliced bread IMHO.This particular brand is yet another knockoff of the original and more expensive 180's brand. So how do they compare?Well, outer material is pretty nice, and the inner part is plush and fake fur-like, your ears definitely feel toasty, but may possibly start to itch or sweat if you wear these for extended periods of time or during strenuous activity (like jogging or shoveling snow). When wearing, they are higher profile than 180's, if discreet is important to you.The actual band mechanism is not as low profile as the original 180's, and even though the ear parts are thick - you can still feel the "hoop" parts, but it isn't as bad as those horrid spring steel things they had when I was a kid. :)Lastly, I personally never use it, but some styles of the genuine 180's come with a pocket so you can insert earphones if you want - this particular brand doesn't have that feature.Anyway, for the price, these ear muffs are great for short jaunts from your car, or to the mailbox, but they ain't 180's, which are more sleek and comfortable.

These ear warmers are very good. It fits well on the back of the head and keeps ears warm even in minnesota weather. Inner layer is made of artificial fur which is very soft and it is quite thick to handle extreme cold weather. I was wearing it for 5-6 hours today and did not feel uncomfortable. I would recommend these.

I never thought I could love such a mundane and basic article of clothing...but I love these earmuffs. I live in Illinois, and temperatures this time of year are not kind to exposed skin. I bought these, having no idea the difference having warm ears makes when you're outside for more than just a few minutes. They are big enough to cover over my ears, but they don't squeeze against my head. The inside is very soft, and I have found I can wear my earbuds and/or earrings with these on and not be uncomfortable. They don't feel loose on my head, and I can move around without them sliding off. They are adjustable, but as I have a small head I didn't need to adjust them much, so I don't know how far they will reach. Seriously, don't spend a lot of money on a name brand, these work amazingly well for at least half the cost.

These are a high quality item for cold weather which shipped quickly.I find I actually prefer these neck cuffs over head cuffs. They do not interfere with glasses or hats, and are veyy comfortable and attractive.They shipped VERY quickly!

I used this for three months of winter before getting completely fed up with them. These DO NOT stack up to the slightly more reputable brands, like 180s. I test products daily and am always on the hunt for good value, here are my thoughts:Pros:- They look like the pictureCons:- They're cheap. They feel cheap, they look cheap.- They HURT. This was the main reason for my frustration with these. They are made with cheap plastic around the rim of the earmuff, which eventually starts to grind into your head. The padding will fade away and you will feel the plastic every time you turn your head. Not good!- The plastic in the back to make them adjustable is junk. Doesn't work well, and looks BAD. You can see the outline from behind.Overall:Not worth saving a few bucks to be uncomfortable in the winter. Especially in the cold, you want something with nice padding and a nice frame. These are not those. The picture make them look great, but wearing them is a different story.I spend a lot of time testing products and crafting well thought-out reviews. I was a bit surprised that these came folded up, but they do fold up quite nicely which I think is a great feature. I am able to put it in my coat pocket this way. I use this when I ride my bike to work in the morning. It is nice because it reduces wind noise (so I can listen to audio books using headphones). It also keeps my ears warm in below freezing temperatures.Can't beat it for the price.

Love them! Super warm and comfortable. Have gotten compliments like, "sophisticated."Really recommend for guys, like me, with short hair that want to stay warm AND keep their hair styled throughout the day.These have been working in weather below 10 degrees.Only downside is that they do slightly obscure voice volume of people speaking to you. But what do you expect when you cover the ear passages?

I bought these because there were no ear muffs to be found in any stores in Boston. They are really inexpensive and had decent reviews. The ear muffs are very warm and definitely recommend them for short time usage in extremely cold weather. But they are a bit on the tighter side and prolonged use can start pressing on pressure points behind the ears. I end up removing them when commuting in vehicles and just wrapping them on my arm. They are a bit bulky because they have good amount of insulation but not too bulky that they wont fit in a bag. They overall fabric feels good, but sometimes while folding the muffs get twisted. So far it has served me well for over 1 week and it has helped me survive winter storm Niko in Boston.

Was a great product, wrapping around the ears and keeping them warm. But after using it for 4 months, it was too twisted. Wouldn’t fit around the ears properly.

So comfortable. These helped so much in the Winter, since my jacket doesn't have a hood!

Compact design and does the trick for walking around in the city, going from the office to shops, to the train and the short walk home, etc.

They fold up nice, and can be quite compact. They keep my ears warm, but I wish there was more padding in the ear portion so it would press against the ear more for better...
