Wilton Christmas X-Mas Icing Color

I've tried to submit this problem through the Returns thread, but it won't give me a Submit window. I tried again to return/replace the item. This time I was able to go further in the process and a replacement is on the way. Wilton dyes are great and I'm glad I'll be able to use this next one and it won't spill or dry out since it will have a lid.

The Wilton Christmas Icing Colors are exactly what I needed to make my holiday treats look festive and professional. I used quite a bit of the gel and it still made bright pink (not red). It had no problem dying my hand and countertop, so be careful. I ended up throwing it out because it had a really bad taste. I wouldn’t use this for something that is being consumed, but should be ok if used in something not edible.

This icing color set is easy to use for cookies and cakes. The red and green are strong enough after mixing, and a small amount already gives good color. The jars are not very big, but enough for home baking in holiday season. The texture is a little thick, so need to stir well. It makes the decoration look nice, but it is not natural color.

Very pigmented dyed my red velvet cake easily. Will stain fingers if touched. No flavor noted. Much much better than liquid food color. Little goes a long way!!!

It came without a cap! Once you open this you can’t preserve the gel contents for use later! Who does that? I have been using Wilton products for over 30 years!

These icing colours are the best I have ever used. There is no waste and it doesn't thin the icing out.
