thank god for this product
my friend who is a hairdresser screwed up my color and made my hair dark brown with a reddish tint instead of my bright coppery auburn. I was having a nervous breakdown and crying. In trying to figure out how to remedy the mistake, finally a friend told me about this product. I ordered the 2 pack because my hair is very long (and I did end up using both packs). it took all the dark color out, left my hair a much lighter auburn to which I will add my regular toner tomorrow. It was not difficult to use, smell was not pleasant, but it went away. The rinsing procedure was long and boring, but it was worth the effort. my order came in a day and a half...awesome. i hope i never have to use this again, but its nice to know it is there lol

Highly recommended
My hair was this blue and has been bleached and dyed ash blonde many times before the blue. I bought three boxes cause my hair is really long, goes on easy. You know it’s on if your hair is wet since it’s like a clear liquid. I washed with purple shampoo and a deep conditioner for damaged hair after. My hair is amazing back to blonde with not one drop of blue. AWESOME I know where to turn when I do something silly now!

Happier than I thought I'd be
My natural color is auburn. I have pretty fine, short hair. I decided to add highlights too my hair and got too much blonde in it - looked terrible. I waited about 6 weeks before I attempted to change the hair color. I dyed it med/dark brown - and my hair turned horribly dark, like a blackish brown. It was so ugly. Someone recommended I use this, and I was extremely hesitant. I've never used this, never really heard anything about it. However, it turned into a saving grace. I had no idea what my hair was going to look like after using it, and that is scary. I had no idea the condition it would leave my hair, especially after all of the processing it just went through. The process was long, but well worth it. My hair is stripped of all the mistakes I made. It's not a medium brown and the color is very pretty (almost as if I dyed it). If I as if I chose to make it this color. My hair was a little weak for a couple days, but it quickly recovered after the right deep conditioners.I would highly recommend this product for anyone that made a big hair-oops with coloring.Helpful tip (for red based hair) - I did get a lot of red come through after I did this process. But I used some blue shampoo and it really helped - If you put blue shampoo in your hair (dry) and leave it on for ~20 minutes, then rinse, it'll really tone down the red. Then use it regularly as shampoo.

Expect progress, not perfection.
I'm naturally blonde and wanted a change so I colored my hair a dramatic cherry chocolate for the fall (left pic). I quickly grew tired of it and was ready to return to my blonde, but didn't want to use bleach or harsh chemicals. After reading the reviews, I had an idea of what to expect with Oops. The product was thin and easy to apply, and reminded me of the smell of a perm. Not pleasant, but bearable. Anyone else remember the smell of a perm? Ok, I'm dating myself. Anywho, I left the product on for 20 minutes, set my timer, turned on a good play list and I rinsed. And I rinsed. For 20 minutes. The result was a magnificent orange (middle pic) which I was expecting based on the reviews, so I was planning to recolor anyway. I waited until the next day to see if my hair would darken overnight as it had for some other reviewers. Luckily, I rinsed well enough and it did not. The reviews and instructions suggested 2-3 shades lighter because your hair will grab darker. I went with L'Oréal Preference Light Ash Blonde to tone the orange, and was hoping for a medium to dark ash blonde result. This stuff is almost white, y'all and it didn't stand up to this brassy mess. My hair is much less orange after recoloring, but is still red, closer to a dark strawberry blonde (right pic), but presentable. I will give it a week or 2 and attempt to lighten and tone again. Overall, Oops isn't terrible, but it will not return your hair to your natural color and you will likely need to recolor a few times to get your desired shade. Expect progress, not perfection.

Impressed
I was pretty impressed. I wasn't expecting a lot, since I color my hair often, however better than expected. I didn't even realize what color my hair was under!Hair is a little dry after, but definitely to be expected after something like this. The smell is kinda like the smell of a perm after. :-)

Hair color bothering you, THIS WORKS!
I’m pretty amazed!I have naturally medium ash blonde hair, but have dyed it various colors over the past 5 years. Everything from platinum to, most recently, dark (almost black) brown. I’m trying to accept the natural me, so I want to get back to that boring shade of blonde I was born with. But while quarantine is happening, I have no salons to help me! I decided to start the slow process of fading my color so that when I DO get to see a stylist, I’ll be closer to natural.I was terrified of what my results with this product would be, but there was no need to be. It was a simple process and brought my overly dyed hair back to something almost identical to my real hair color! I have some root growth which will need to be dealt with, but it’s almost not noticeable. Your hair might feel slightly dry after the shampooing process, but condition thoroughly and use a hair mask and you’ll be fine! I HIGHLY recommend this product. A total life-saver!

Thank god for this product..
I had a long run with hair colors. From blond to demi permanent red, then to permanent dark brown, then I wanted to wash out the red so I used green demi-permanent hair color. After few weeks the hair color was awful as you can see on the picture, red/dark brown on top, green/brown on the ends.I used the product as it told me to. I washed it for 15 minutes and still had green pieces in my hair. After another 15min of washing and deep conditioning it got to where it is now, as seen on the picture. :)I am really happy. My hair is not significantly damaged, I think it's just very dry from all the shampooing, which should be fine after few conditioning treatments.BTW: I USED 2 BOXES, even though my hair is not that long or thick.
